Ordered two vegitarian breakfast absolutely awful dry eggs glued together yokes bust forgot my has browns....bland just dry no bean juice or juice off tomato never again it was just awful

Nice pub working in the area for a few days been in a few times seams well run and clean good prices had Christmas dinner today not quite like home made but still very nice only complaint is no sprouts !!

I was there the night that the group was complaining about I did not witness anything of the so called offensive behaviour that the said was going on I think they just didn't like the barman with people like that I hope they don't come back Speisekarte ansehen

Always enjoy Spoons , The Ward Jackson hits the spot , steak and kidney pudding, mashed potatoes , peas and a pint of Guinness 9.60 delicious and great value. Staff friendly and service quick. Always good selection of beer, with Guinness 3 a pint whats not to like.

A regular customer at this Weatherspoons, The Ward Jackson. Staff always helpful and friendly. I had a festive burger , grilled chicken, Brie slices , 2 halloumi fries , blue cheese dip and chips. Absolutely delicious. Washed down with 2 pints of Guinness. What's not to like. If you are ever in Hartlepool and fancy a drink and something to eat, you can't go wrong at Weatherspoons.

Good food drinks. Service was also good and fibrant atmosphere. Place was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime and probably due to the broad menu of food drink at reasonable prices. The building, although modern from outside, could do with some maintenance internally. Stairs up to toilet and toilet itself very untidy and dirty. Shame as toilets were relatively modern. . Needs a vacuum and balustrades repairing all way up. It's a shame as the staff were very good at keeping tables clean so why not the rest of building? Speisekarte ansehen

Visit ted for breakfast and ordered by the app. Wasn’t really busy and ordered 2 cokes, 2 eggs Benedict via the app. Food come before our drinks, my husband kindly asked where are our drinks? The man (about 50 odd, glasses, tattoos) who brought our food then said what do you expect when you used the app? Should of ordered at the bar and you would of got it quicker then started ranting about being short staffed. My husband was shocked and just looked at him in disbelief! If you were short staffed you should of turned the app off! This man also challenged me for ID once too and I’m 37 years old, obviously a jobsworth.

To start with, there was no parking available so we had to walk quite a distance in windy and stormy weather. Once seated, our food arrived within 5 minutes, making me question if it had been cooked properly. I ordered a margarita pizza which was decent, but I was given a steak knife to cut it, resulting in a pizza that was mostly dough with very little cheese. We also ordered a lasagna that came with tartar sauce, a combination I had never encountered before, and there was no garlic bread despite searching through the salad. Was having a really good evening in Spoons this past Monday, always have a really good evening in Spoons. The food was great and the serving staff were wonderful. However, towards 7/8 a older gentleman in his 50 's with tattoos wearing a baseball cap began serving behind the bar. He was extremely loud, singing about college scum and even saying some of the customers that evening were scum, at one point I witnessed him shake a can of fizzy lemonade and hand it over to be served to a table. He kept making comments such as Scruffiest town in the north east and it expects f ING table service. And other negative, rude comments.
