Recomendation from my family, Mega and Mini mixed grill, great food, meat sweats anyone lol plate of good cooked meat and side plate of all the extras

Just had our Good Friday fish and chips, they were absolutely fantastic! Lovely fresh fish and ‘proper’ chips. Will defo be having the fish from here again.

We both had gammon, well I couldn't believe the size of it ,we both had to ask for a doggy bag to take home.every thing was nicely cooked, value for money. Would definitely go back. Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely brilliant!! Fantastic food at fantastic prices. Propper pub grub, massive portions, we have visited on several occasions and it's always great!! We will be returning again soon!

Went for Sunday lunch and one of the few places Where there is an alternative to a carvery on a Sunday! I had pie and chips and it was absolutely delicious! My kids, 6 and 4 could have shared a meal there was so much ! Will definitely be back.

Staying in the village, after seeing reviews decided to give it a try for Sunday lunch. We chose carvery. Amazing food and plenty of it. We then had biscoff cheesecake, shared between us. So yummy. Staff very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Speisekarte ansehen

A very traditional and unassuming pub from the outside. On entering the staff were very attentive but most importantly the food was lovely and the portion size was tremendous! We had the gammon, steaks etc and each plate was served with pride. The food was definitely home cooked, the chips and onion rings were lovely! Highly recommend a visit.

Huge portions, very reasonable prices and the home made chips are amazing. Would definitely return. We arrived Sunday afternoon having booked for 5pm. We’d hoped to have the carvery, but as they were at the end of carvery serving, meat choices were limited so ordered from the menu. Food was amazing. See pictures. Only minor thing was no water offered for the dog, but he was welcome.

Came tonight for dinner with my elderly mum and my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First time but won't be the last. Very friendly from customers to staff. Food absolutely spot on and the size of the portions was amazing. Certainly can't say you don't get value for money. All freshly cooked and you could tell it was home made. The night was slightly spoilt for us by the noisey group on the table In front of us who really could have more decency to keep their cackling down a bit. None the less, this isn't the fault of the pub and we couldn't fault the service. The customers in the bar even held the door for us as mum went out and wished us a good night.
