Friendly staff, lovely food, chicken ham mushroom pie, one of the best I have ever had.

This pub is fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the homemade Scotch eggs with Piccalili are absolutely delicious.

The perfect Sunday roast with a lovely welcome and excellent service. Well worth a visit for what you would expect from a quality well run country pub. Speisekarte ansehen

The cheesecake with ice cream and berry selection was a very small portion with only 2 grapes on top, dusted in icing sugar. When they say "berries," I would expect a selection of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries.

Lovely old pub and staff friendly we had lunch on Valentine’s Day it was awful the carbonara was just like plain spaghetti dry no meat no taste steak was no better raw mushrooms and tomato’s burnt chips very disappointed won’t be going back

Really welcoming cosy pub in the heart of Midhurst. We were a table of 9 who were fed at 8.45pm on a Tuesday, when many other pubs would have stopped serving food. Good selection local ales and the food was incredibly tasty. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Speisekarte ansehen

My wife and I have visited the Wheatsheaf in Midhurst several times recently, and have never been disappointed, always receiving a very warm welcome as soon as we go in. Food orders are always taken in a timely manner by attentive staff, and decent size portions of food, which are always served piping hot and full of flavour (The Korean chicken wings are amazing) always arrives quickly. Thank you Wheatsheaf, keep up the good work.

We decided to treat ourselves to a Sunday roast at The Wheatsheaf, having heard good things about the food there. It was such a great choice, as our food was fabulous. We had booked our table, which was a good decision as it was getting quite busy. It was ready for us, with our name on it, with nicely set out glasses and cutlery. We had our dog with us and he was given biscuits and water. It was no problem having him in the eating area. Although if you have a lively dog, I'd possibly not bring them, as it's not a massive space. We opted for the roast beef. It was perfectly cooked a real surprise as a lot of places overcook the meat. Very disappointing, after being locals to this pub for years sadly the new owners have taken a disliking to the younger generation of the pub, we have always spent vast amounts of money in this pub over the years and suddenly we are being greeted with a frosty reception, being told we’re not allowed to use the outdoor heater, being followed into the toilets and being told we’re not welcome in here or the swan. After asking to see a food menu at 2.30 in the afternoon (kitchen closes at 3) we were told they are not serving food, despite tables around us eating and receiving food.
