Fab, local pub with a nice food meny. Fish chips really good. Typical 80decor and a very local pub worth visit. They also have evening entertainment.

We had a large party of 14 persons for my fathers 85th birthday and it went fantastically. Jo Dee were extremely helpful and kept the drinks coming. The food was excellent, starters and mains all out at the same and not an empty plate...

Our group of ladies who lunch had an amazing meal today. We booked a table for 10 people, but 16 showed up and Jane graciously accommodated us all with a friendly and helpful attitude. The food was beautifully presented with plenty of options to choose from, and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited for Sunday lunch after making a reservation, and we were glad we did because it was very busy. We ordered drinks and then two of us had roast beef and lamb. I had Piri Piri chicken with sweet potato fries, and my daughter had chicken and chorizo skewers. All the food arrived together and was well presented and hot. It was really tasty, with a great selection of vegetables accompanying the roasts. This was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in a long time. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful to dine in a traditional pub, where food is cooked from scratch. We were let down at a another establishment and the staff here were considerate and helpful. My fish and chips were lovely. The steaks that the others had were huge. Ambience good with friendly staff and made to feel welcome. This pub is tucked away down a backwater but has an interesting history. It was originally a farm house and then changed into a drinking house for the fishermen who lived next door. They caught eels from the river Thames nearby. Well worth a visit! Speisekarte ansehen
