Steak night tonight. The steaks were perfectly done, and accompanied by proper chips. All in all, lovely food. We will be back.

We will definitely come back again, the food was absolutely delicious, and very good portion size. We sat outside first and all tables were decorated with real flowers! Then we moved inside for food. The service was A* Thanks to Sam and Ben for everything. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent quaint venue with friendly and accommodating staff. I had the 18oz Rump Steak, which was good quality and well cooked. The locally sourced fruit and veg delivery arrived whilst we were there and there are a large selection of local ales. Very impressed, would absolutely recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

I turned up late, totally missed the food order but thankfully portions were large and my wife couldn’t finish her bangers and mash. Sausage good. Mash good. Price good. Atmosphere good! So nice to see pubs that haven’t been gentrified by family restaurant type breweries still alive and kicking. Beer garden is nice too and we heard there are plans to improve further. We’ll definitely come back for lunch soon. Price per person: £10–20

Most disappointing revolting pie I have ever eaten I still feel a bit sick this morning, was supposed to be chicken leek and ham, was expecting nice chunks in a nice sauce but it was filled with a horrible sludge more reminiscent of some kind of cat food and although I have never eaten it I suspect it tastes similar, heavy dense tasteless mush mash horrible pastry all vile. I should have complained at the time but we were being taken out by a familly member and I was hungry so I did try to eat some but i really regret it I still feel icky. The other food may be passable the chips looked ok but whatever you do if you happen to eat here don't try the pie. Speisekarte ansehen
