"The service was exceptional, and the food was nothing short of incredible—definitely worth every penny! It's easy to see why they've earned the award for Best Sunday Lunch in Pembrokeshire. The dining room was beautifully decorated with fairy lights and rustic furniture that complemented the building's charm. I started with mushrooms on bruschetta, which was outstanding. Even my wife, who has texture sensitivities, couldn’t resist trying it and ended up loving it! She chose the whitebait as her appetizer, which she found delicious. For our main courses, I opted for the lamb roast while my wife enjoyed the turkey. I can honestly say it was the best roast dinner I've ever had! We were quite full, but we couldn’t resist dessert—it would have been impolite not to, right? I treated myself to a selection of the Chef's own Petits Fours with coffee, while my wife, in a playful Borat voice, opted for the Red Cherry Sorbet. Every dish was perfect: succulent, served hot, and bursting with flavor—words can hardly do it justice. SO GOOD! Since arriving here, we've dined at several places, but I know we will be reminiscing about the fabulous food at The Wolfe Inn for years to come. "Last night, my family and I dined at the restaurant after enjoying some takeout from there a few times before. We were extremely impressed with the food - crisp, light batter as promised, delicious chips with extra toppings. I even tried the battered Mars bar and it was amazing, especially with the ice cream and other extras. The service was excellent, efficient, and the waitstaff were very skilled at their jobs. We are already looking forward to our next visit. And the battered mince pie for Christmas that my dad tried? Absolutely incredible. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Although I didn't have the opportunity to stay overnight, I celebrated my recent birthday with my partner at this fine dining restaurant. It exceeded all of our expectations. The food was exceptional and our waitress was well-informed about each course we enjoyed, all seven of them! The service and hospitality from the rest of the staff was also excellent, making it great value for money. Even though I live nearby, I would consider staying here for a short break because it is just that good. Thank you to all the staff, I can't wait to come back soon."

"So disappointing. We have been eating here for over 3 years on our frequent visits to the area. Always had fantastic food and service until tonight. Our table (pre booked) was already laid but dirty with coffee/tea rings, the waitress cleaned it only when she brought the menus. We ordered Onion Rings as an appetiser, the bowl was put on the table and the waitress swiftly disappeared, no cutlery or plates were supplied, they were so hot that they burnt our lips and tongue, we were not warned about the intense heat. I was then given my “main course” a tiny portion of lasagna, a tiny salad and 2 pieces of garlic bread, this wasn’t even a child’s portion and was being charged at around £17! We complained, the lasagna was taken off the bill in order to encourage us to return, this clearly seemed to have resolved the issue for the staff but I really don’t think they have any intention of acting on our complaints. I can now see from the reviews that others have had similar issues over the summer. So, Chris, please do not respond with an “apology” as you have to others, take action and change things, show you are listening or you won’t have a business."

"Anticipating a great experience from a relatively expensive sunday lunch from a posh spa and eatery I came away disappointed. On arrival passed several staff but with no response. Found the bar and bought two ridiculously expensive drinks and awaited friends. Told to come this way by staff who disappeared to talk to someone else. Very average seating. To be fair, the soup and souffle starters were good. Told they had run out of sirloin main and was offered brisket beef dinner instead with a free yorkshire which is menued as £2......are you serious, £2 for a yorkshire on a sunday lunch. Main meals chicken which was dry and brisket the same with overdone edge, the veg both served on plate and in additional bowls was just stodge and barely recognisable with greens dry and the £2 free yorkshire was like cardboard. Gave up on deserts as most were not available. The loud coffee machine was right by our table and made conversation difficult .We were guests of friends otherwise I would have spoken to staff about these issues. Will I return....no, will I recommend.....no."
