Every time I have been to the woodend I have found the staff very friendly and welcoming the food is always excellent ,it is my favourite place to go...

this place has changed a lot since I used to join my family as a child. I love the caries, but I go in the rule for the fish and chips. between the menu and the carvery there is a great offer here. make sure they come and visit the woodend. up there.

it just happened to drive past. we had hunger. So we moved in and got a late lunch. my son and I had a chickenburger and my wife had the coal. we enjoyed our meals and the staff there were polite and helpful. they have different day offers and much to choose from in the menu.

Absolutely love this place. We've been there several times, everytime food is delicious. And it’s not pricey. Carvery, fish and chips and pizza is our favourite and of course delicious chocolate brownies Staff always friendly. I'm a bit picky when in comes to food, but this place... i can highly recommend

Ordered a carvery to collect via an app and arrived to find super friendly staff who sorted out a huge portion of tasty food for me …good priced food, great range of choices on the menu and most importantly staff who seem happy to be there, having banter with the customers perfect place for a carvery locally

Had a carvery delivered to eat with a friend who is house bound for a birthday lunch. Food was excellent potions were large and they had put in extras and a happy birthday message. You made us very happy thank you so much we really enjoyed it as no longer able to visit together you made an elderly lady very happy as well! Xxx

I do like the woodend pub but the experience could be better. Staff were not the best at times although some are nice and couldn’t help anymore than they do. Sometimes the food is great annd I really enjoy it other times it’s abit poor. It’s hit and miss here some days we have the best experience with lovely food and other times it can be a little poor. Prices keep creeping up but I guess everything is!

Went in and ordered via the app, was given the option to choose for the kids meals to come out asap or with mains so ticked asap. By the time we had finishes the kids food still wasn’t here so I went up to check (there wasn’t many people in either) asked at the counter to be told by a young lady the chef is plating yours now.. as I walked away I heard the chef turn round to the girl and say “well that’s what you get for having your carvery before your kids food arrives dosent it” I did stop and was going to turn round and confront him but I didn’t want to make a scene espically infront of my children.
