"Good service with welcome recommendations from the very friendly waiter. Food was cooked and presented well. We were a table of four and all enjoyed our courses. Twelve and a half percent service charge was added to our bill which we were happy to pay but the waiter told us this did not include a tip for him??? Never known this before, we left a little extra but it slightly marred what was a very enjoyable meal."

Food was nice but unfortunately service was not. Drinks took forever and the waiter wasn’t attentive. Bread was stale.

Great gastropub. Not sure why it doesn’t feature higher on the quality radar. Great venue, focus on quality food with beef and fresh fish at the centre. Good service. Good wine list. Highly recommended for a group family Sunday lunch. Speisekarte ansehen

Food and cocktails were great, the steak is asa amazing as they claim! Service was a little slow but I do think they were under-staffed on the night I went and anytime we questioned about delays with our food etc the servers were more than apologetic and still made the experience a positive one. It definitely didn’t put me off and I will be going back again.

Great established English Steak and Seafood restaurant with a great menu and a great staff. Food was well prepared and presented promptly. Our waiter was Joseph and was a pro. Only criticism is that they need to spend some of their profits repairing their leather seat cushions. The wood paneled elegance is quickly withered by ripped seat cushions. That said I would go back and turn over the cushions.
