We had a delicious meal here at lunch time yesterday, the pizzas were delicious and tasted very fresh! And the service was quick- thank you Audrey and the rest of the team!

Ordered online, turned up as they were finishing our pizzas off, straight out of the oven and home. They were so tasty, balanced flavours, perfectly made and cooked, just delicious. I'll be going back without a doubt. Speisekarte ansehen

Loved the delicious pizzas handmade in the traditional Italian oven! Great flavours combined to take you to Italy in a bite ! Nice compact menu at a reasonable price too. Never noticed it on the high street as it’s tucked away but found it on Tripadvisor with great reviews already.

We have been coming here for a while now and have always looked forward to the food, tonight they have let them selves down, staff had no idea on customer service,. No plates, had to ask 3 times , and then he grunts as he’s walking away. They need to train staff before asking them to represent a business.

This is an excellnt restaurant that probably does not attract many diners because of it 's dark exterior and the emphasis is construed as a delivery take-away. As an Introvert, that suits me tickkety-boo. The mixed olives as a starter were very plentiful, the very spicy Vesuvius pizza was a delight to my palate. The Montepulcianno wine was fabulous and served at perfect ambient temperature. Staff are fabulous, it is always uplifting to get service with a nod and a wink ! Speisekarte ansehen

A small cosy restaurant which can be easily missed! Parking can be a bit of a challenge. Fairly basic surroundings in restaurant but the level of service and great care and friendly service makes it feel warmer in ambience. Starters of burrata and another dish of charcuterie were plentiful fresh. Pizzas were super great dough base which is just to my liking. Soft but thick enough. Freshly made tasty with right amount of toppings. Wines are served by the glass but not shown on menu. Overall a good experience and would defo return. Thank you Yard team :

…and not disappointed. I ordered a delivery of side salad (crispy and fresh), a garlic bread w/cheese (yumch) and a Diavola (Pepperoni) which was delicious too. Ordered online direct not long after 6pm and it was delivered within 20 mins. And it was hot too (not the salad, that’d be weird) ...so no need to warm it up. I'd say these people know pizza! Great ingredients, well cooked and a hearty size. This was enough for two us! Better than any of the pizza chains around Harpenden and, tbh, yet to have any better pizza from anywhere hereabouts. And if you order on Tues or Wed, it’s 25% off. Excellent.

1) Food Quality (4/5) The pizzas are very tasty, using excellent ingredients and a lovely tomato sauce. I have to rate 4/5 only because the pizzas always seem wet/sloppy in the middle. If the bread was crispy all the way across it would be 5/5. That said, I can live with it because the overall taste/experience is a delight 2) Food Range (4/5) A slightly more interesting and eclectic range than the usual pizza restaurant offerings. However, I would like to see some more meaty pizza options. Although I do appreciate this is a pizzeria, I would also welcome some high protein sides (for example, chicken goujons or meatballs) and kiddy friendly crudités for a more balanced meal, especially for fa...
