4 of us enjoyed our meals, great service. Helpful, happy staff. Was very busy as a Saturday night, great atmosphere. Prompt with our meals, drinks. We would definitely come back. Loved the rustic look, of course the great burning fire sets a good atmosphere too.

A lovely pub, friendly and polite staff. The food was exceptional, my wife had the beef roast which she said was genuinely the best she has had, I had whole sea bass which was just divine. If you're looking for a cheap meal out, best you go to wetherspoons, if you appreciate good food and staff who make the effort, I highly recommend the Three Mariners

We were staying nearby on a mini holiday from London and booked this place as it was walking distance. Honestly it was the best decision I had made they have a huge outdoor space for drinks in the sunshine, then an amazing indoor cosy but airy space and the food was so delicious. We had scallops, oysters, hake and fish pie and all were perfect. I only wish we lived closer.

Delightful! A little gem. Beautiful interior, staggered garden and al fresco dining. Top local fish menu. Friendly staff. Service a little slow but well worth the wait. We recommend both the Duck and the Pollock dishes Perfect spot for a meal after a walk around the marshes. Lots of cool things planned over Jubilee weekend DJ set, The Greatest Showman outside and live band.

A very pleasant end to a circular walk around the Oare Marshes. It's quite a food oriented pub but there certainly is space just to sit and have a beer (and this was a Sunday afternoon). There is a pleasant multi levelled garden out the back with views towards the east not the most beautiful view but it's a pleasant place to sit. It is, of course, a Sheps house with their usual range: Master Brew and Whitstable Bay Pale Ale on the pumps. Bottled 1698 available but only from the fridge. Definitely a welcome end of a walk to the Swale and back and friendly welcoming staff.

this is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service. the interieur has historical exposed beams, an open fire, heavy wooden and very tasteful decor. the cocktails are excellent! really excellent mixology. eating is good, but not as good as expected. the burger was overdue, the sole was slightly undercooked, the oysters were small and had a milky deposit on one that I have never seen in an oyster. we were brought the three fish dishes with regular sides instead of the sunday roast sides, as offered and desired. our food was also served at various times due to the nutritional requirements of one.
