Three Swallows - Speisekarte

Great family evening meal, staff very friendly and welcoming. The fish and chips is definitely one to have, freshly battered fish you will go a long way to beat. Lovely atmosphere, we will definitely return!

We had a great experience at the Three Swallows, where Sue and John made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were excellent and the lunch/dinner menu offered typical pub fare. Everything we tried was well-cooked, with fresh salad ingredients. The seafood platter was particularly outstanding and even included lobster.

Lots of items not available on menu, everything with chips. Lasagne only had essence of mince beef, it was just sauce. When we both mentioned how poor it was, we were amazed to be told yeah we've had lots of complaints !!!!! why is it...still on the menu then?? also told it was bought in from suppliers when their website says cooked and prepared on site!! will not be returning as standard of food for price is not value for money.

Enjoyed a really nice course Meal.. the lovely waitress (name I think she said was Kirsty moved us to a larger table which was a kind gesture as was visiting with my elderly father. The halloumi fries were possibly the best I’ve tasted..., pate was also of a very high standard, the service was fast, polite, courteous. The lovely waitress also gave our puppy a little treat as we ate. Venison Pie … delicious Cosy, welcoming, friendly Happy to recommend this place

Have been coming to this pub for years but no more.Called in yesterday for lunch to be greeted by the most miserable man behind the bar who barely managed to string a sentence together even though I tried to engage a conversation.Not many people in...(understandably) and even having taken a menu outside nobody came out to ask what we wanted.Drank our drinks and left Went to the Dunn Cow instead in Salthouse Which was AMAZING . Do not waste your money here and mate your in the wrong job Maybe a career change or a personality by pass required

Overpriced, dirty cramped room. When we walked into our room the first impression was that it smelt of damp. On closer inspection it was due to the lack of humidistat in the bathroom and no air flow. The dark walls were covered with water staining...where condensation had dripped down them over time and the skirting boards were covered with black mould. The shower leaked and the room was unclean (except for the bedding and towels There were cob webs behind the sink pedestal and excess dust on the windowsill. When I raised these issues, the cleaner did come back to reclean the room but by then the place had lost its charm. Good breakfast.

The food is grossly overpriced for what is is. for a cheese sandwich on ‘everyday’ bread, a scrape of margarine and some grated cheese, a handful of ‘everyday’ crisps and a very very small salad cherry tomato and slices of cucumber) without...dressing. A cheeseburger that was literally dripping fat, with onions that were specifically asked to be omitted served in a very dry bread bun with the same salad as the sandwich. At least the fries were okay! . These were both second choices because the spicy bean burger wasn’t available. When asked if they could make an egg sandwich it was too much trouble, even though ham egg was on the menu so the egg was readily available. On the plus site the tea...

Being grumpy myself I felt a certain sympathy with the landlord. We hadn't studied the reviews before we booked; my choice was made simply because the house over the green had been the home of one of my bridesmaids and I like the atmosphere on...the green next to Cley Church. Eyebrows were raised when I told another Cley resident where we were going to stay her comment was its an un-reconstructed pub Which kind of appealed. I was surprised to read the recent reviews. We stayed at The Three Swallows earlier this month. Yes, the rooms are small (but that is obvious from the pubs website). Our room was clean and the shower room had modern fittings and plenty of space....The addition of a small patio area outside each room, with a couple of chairs and a table was a bonus. We found Sue, Michael and the breakfast server (sorry cannot recall her name) friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options.
