"Could have been so good but....... On the positive side, great menu, local meat cooked really well, good value On the negative, as a group of six enjoying a birthday meal, we had to put up with a bunch of young kids running around, climbing over the furniture making plenty of noise. They were having a lot of fun !!! Their parents happy for the break, the staff either too busy or unconcerned so it just became more and more irritating as evening went on. Eventually we had to raise it with the manager, who at least showed some awareness by giving us a bottle of wine on the house as we paid our bill. Alas too little to late. This establishment needs to make a choice what it wants to be.At the moment, would say go their with ear defenders.However with the food as good as it is, I hope they work it out"

Tipputs Inn is brilliant. The food is great the beer is fab. The Bar Manager makes the place incredible always welcoming and very helpful.

Went for Sunday lunch...roast was nice but puds a disappointment....coffee was cold. Sent it back but was told it would take to long to re do it so didn't bother. Had 2 puds free. Won't go again

Everything about this restaurant is special! For me and my family as well as friends, it it a place to celebrate special occasions. It is one of the most beautiful and comfortable of dining experiences ever!

First time to dine here. Went mid week which was not too busy. The restraunt was closed, but we still enjoyed being in the main bar to eat our delicious meal. My husband was especially happt to find liver and onions on the menu!! Shall definitely go again

A very pleasant country location with some interesting building features and ownerships. Garden looked good for the summer day and evening enjoyment. Food was honest but the rack of lamb was two chops. Service was friendly. Overall a good alternative dining in an area of the country with few dining options.

We went to fulfil a steak-and-chips craving and got it in spades. Drop-dead gorgeous steak. In fact, the best we've had in years, and local too. Happy Friday night atmosphere with local people watching the rugby at the bar, children wandering around, and groups, couples, holiday-makers at the tables. There's more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Cracking place. We will definitely go back.
