Toby Carvery - Speisekarte

Our group of 50 Explorer scouts visited Toby Carvery for a Christmas meal. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, with special mention to Sarah, our waitress.

The service was great with our waitress being Sarah, who was very friendly and helpful. The carver Jake was also very friendly and welcoming. Food was also spot on great visit.

Really poor service , the staff were gossiping and staring over at the table wich wasn’t pleasant , when my desert arrived there was a clump of hair and dust on the wafer however it was replaced

Greeted by friendly staff and seen to a table. Very efficient service and made fresh eggs and bacon upon asking for. Nice environment and kept clean. Shall be returning again in the future. Well done team and manager Sarah

Came for lunch today (19th Nov) after about a year and a half as we didn't have a great experience last time. Today though was lovely. 12.30 on a Sunday lunchtime and there were plenty of tables, food was all fresh and cooked well, service was fab (our server was Sarah). Absolutely awful service, inexperienced and unprofessional staff, wasn't even busy! The food was terrible, Mac and cheese was tiny and dry, chicken nugget burger was laughable and the carvery was so hard and dry, you could build a brick wall with the stuffing and the Yorkshire puddings...avoid avoid avoid and it's not value for money AT ALL...go to subway next door instead! Will NOT be going back, it was a joke

This restaurant is a nightmare. We had booked a table for our family, but when we arrived we were informed that all they had left was some roast pork because they had been busy (even though the place was only half empty). Every time we have booked a table here, there has always been a problem. If they are running out of food, they should not allow people to book ahead of time and waste their time. We have been disappointed multiple times and have given up on this place. We urge everyone else to do the same.

I am a vegan by necessity, not choice, and I was disappointed with the lack of options at this restaurant. The only vegan meal available was the Spinach Mushroom Pithivier, which was mostly pastry with very little spinach and no mushrooms. The accompanying peas were dry, the roast potatoes were hard, and the red cabbage was also dry. The veggie gravy was solid and cold. The seasonal crumble for dessert was tasty but overly sweet. The 0% alcohol beer was enjoyable. The total bill of £18.03 was too expensive for the poor quality of food. The staff were friendly and attentive, but overall, the food was awful. Speisekarte ansehen
