Lovely and friendly, food perfect. Best burger I've had ever, best liver and bacon for my mum, puddings just perfect. Excellent value for money.

We discovered this restaurant on Tripadvisor and we are thrilled that we did. The food is delicious (especially the chips!) and the staff are extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, good service. Amazing food very generous portions! All meals freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Good value for money also. Looking forward to visiting again for a Sunday Roast.

how beautiful to go to a pub that is absolutely flowering and so popular. all our meals were excellent. my spicy lens soup was exceptional. the fish of my friend on seafood risotto looked fantastic and she loved it. the service was before place well made natilee, andy and team. we come back definitiw.

the best cake I've ever had! filled with freshly made quality and served with perfectly made chips and plucked. 3 of us each ordered another and each meal was uniquely delicious. the kiddie fish finger and chips were quite large, but enough for the dinner left service was very friendly and efficient, although it might have been nice to know their names. I will definitely recommend the bell inn and know where to go back in the opposite.

we stopped at lunch in bovingdon looking for a caffe or bistro. not much choice, so decided to go for a pub. what a sound! the bell inn is a charming, radiant traditional pub, with friendly staff, good choice of beer and a great menu. I ordered a fish-fingered tacockette from the lite bite menu. lite? it was massive! beautiful large fish finger, with freshly baked baguette, and wee acid sauce to die. the woman had butternut quash soup that they really enjoyed. high quality pub food, at a good price.

Just wanted to congratulate everybody at The Bell yesterday for providing us with a fantastic Sunday lunch. There was a wide choice of various main courses and we all agreed it was of the highest quality. Our grandson had the roast chicken which he thoroughly enjoyed, and he particularly enjoyed the crumble and custard he chose for his desert. I would like mention Megan and Tallulah who looked after us so well and thank them for their kind service, and not forgetting the kitchen staff for providing top quality food.

We visited The Bell to celebrate our birthday. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our table promptly. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Our food order was taken as soon as we were ready. Two of us chose a Thai Red Curry from the specials board and our other guest chose the Steak and Ale Pie. We had salt and pepper chicken wings to nibble while we waited for our mains. The food did not take too long to come. It was nicely presented, there was plenty of it and it was delicious. We were too full for pudding so we asked for the bill which we received promptly. The service throughout was truly excellent, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
