"I had made a reservation for a table for 4 at 6:15 pm. However, I received a phone call around 5 pm informing me that they had run out of beef. Despite this setback, we arrived at 6:15 pm and were seated at our table. We went to the carvery and found that the stuffing was burnt and stuck to the dish. We had to wait 10 minutes for a new batch, and when we went to the gravy table, there was no gravy available. After a delay, we finally ate our main courses. When the waitress came to take our order for desserts, we requested sponge pudding, only to be told that there was no sponge pudding available. Overall, it was not a very satisfactory visit. We were planning to book a festive family meal at this restaurant, but unless we can be assured that everything on the menu is available, we will have to visit again soon before making a decision."

Taken straight to a seat no hanging around, food lovely as ever and the staff really helpful. Travel from Harrogate but well worth it. Will visit again soon

Staff lovely. Ordered carvery. Was nice...just not enough meat. Only 2 small pieces. Plenty of everything else. For a CARVERY they needed to carve off a bit more meat!

Staff were great food was great value for money excellent. It wasn’t busy but it was a Monday evening. I imagine it’s got a good vibe on a weekend, will definitely return

I have eaten for years at toby horsforth and never had a problem with one of the fleshy meals there. the personal was always professional, so I can't knock anything at all.

We will be back it was perfect, sadly I usually work Sundays but will definitely be booking again , the whole experience was spot on, there was no room for pudding due to no wastage on plates ????

we thought that this was nice hanging around for a few hours, and especially the spit and the best were past. because I don't eat meat, that was disappointment. the staff was friendly and efficient.

Great food. Friendly and helpful people who work at toby carvery were lovely. We're seated at table quickly and the experience was very easy and enjoyable. Would go again for a family meal with children
