Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, will definitely stop again, huge portions cooked fresh, highly recommended lovely little stream with benches beside it too

This is a charming little fish and chip shop with a very friendly staff. They offer a vegan fish option that is incredibly tasty and the portions are huge. The curry sauce is probably the best I've ever had.

Wonderful. The fish had a crispy batter that wasn't soggy or oily. The chips were made with real potatoes and tasted delicious. The peas and curry sauce were decent. Everything was cooked fresh to order, which was a big plus. Overall, I couldn't find any faults with it.

Family run quaint little chip shop! Everything is cooked fresh to order, and OH MY, the fish batter is so light and crispy. The fish, so fresh and tasty. Best chippy ever!!!! Every member of staff are so friendly, always make a fuss of the kids : We travel around 50 minutes for this treat, we'd happily travel longer for this treat!

The best fish and chips! We were visiting the area on vacation and made a special trip to the village just for this chip shop. We ordered two regular fish and chips (which were huge) and one serving of mushy peas. The total came to just over £20, which was great value considering the size of the portions and the high quality of the food.

My partner and I decided to try this restaurant on a Thursday evening after our Airbnb host suggested it. When we arrived, we noticed a long line of people waiting for their fish and chips outside, which we took as a good sign of the food's popularity. While there is a small car park opposite the restaurant, most customers opted to park along the road. The staff members were welcoming and even offered mint chocolates to those waiting in line outside. We ordered the regular fish and chips and were impressed by the portion size. Additionally, there is a charming garden next to the chip shop with benches where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

I visited Toll Bar Fish Chips for the first time today, after driving past several times and saying to myself 'I must try that place some time '. I 'd seen the excellent reviews on Google so had high expectations, and I was not disappointed. I was greeted by friendly staff, my fish and chips were cooked to order in a matter of minutes, and I enjoyed them sat to a table outside in the sun. The food was delicious, and a great portion size great value for money. If I 'm nitpicking, there was a little more salt than I 'd like put on the chips, but that 's easily done. I 've already been recommending the place to friends and family, and I hope to visit again soon to sample some of the other items... Speisekarte ansehen
