look at these bowls of sunshine and delicious! it was really very difficult to feed it to a sose, a mix-in and two toppings. I started with a basic of courgette noodles and added thunfisch, avocado (natural) earlyling wobbles, sawimi and crispy cortex with a ponzu soy on the side.

A great Japanese place serving Hawaiian Poke style meals. Matcha Bar is also a great addition to London's growing matcha scene. Service is quick and friendly while ambience matches authentic Tokyo Cafe style places. Coming to the food, poke are very refreshingly fresh, full of flavour and goodness.

I adore this restaurant; it's peaceful and understated, despite being located in the bustling Soho area. The food is very fresh, high-quality, and they serve creative matcha desserts. Fresh poke bowls with nice variety of ingredients to choose from. Like their build your own bowl. Miso soup was not like those watery ones you normally get from other places. Silky tofu and plenty of seaweed in the soup. Green tea ice cream was light. Comfy seating downstairs. Nice escape from the busy streets around Oxford Circus.

This poke bowl is fantastic! It's delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The desserts are adorable too. I wish they delivered so I could enjoy this every day. The restaurant has small step at the entrance and the doorway is a bit narrow for wheelchair access. There aren't many tables on the ground floor, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Tombo Poké and Matcha Bar is the smaller sister sister cafe to the Tombo Cafe in South Kensington. As the name suggests, it serves up a variety of poké bowls and matcha goodies. My love of matcha is well-documented and I can’t help raving about a place when it does matcha really well. Add to that hot new Hawaiian poké food trend and it’s a match made in heaven (please forgive the terrible pun). Tombo Poké Matcha Bar in Soho opened in June and it’s already a popular and lively spot. The two-floor cafe is bright and uplifting with super-friendly staff and decent air-con – perfect for a relaxing refuel in the heart of the city.

What on earth is that, you might ask? Having originated in Hawaii, you can think of poké as a kind of 'deconstructed sushi '. Why? Well, generally it involves raw fish, rice, sauces and toppings, all combined in an easy to eat bowl apparently bowls are the new plates?!. Light and healthy, yet substantial enough to be consumed as a main meal, it fills that middle ground between the previous 'make your own ' options where your choices were generally limited to salad bowls (think Chop 'd or Vital Ingredient), or the more calorie laden offerings like Chipotle. Guests can choose from classic poké bowls or create their own customized dish, making for an interactive dining experience. I recommend trying the Classic Poké with Salmon or Tuna, as well as the Kaisen Poké with Salmon and Tuna. Vegans and meat-eaters alike will also find delicious options on the menu.
