Totally Delicious Trentham Shopping Village

Disappointed with the food not as described had to leave the salad absolutely swimming with dressing and not as described or on show, will not eat here again overpriced , and they are not interested when they get it wrong.

Called here on our Boxing day out. A very warm welcome by the very efficient Emma and her staff. A well priced menu, excellent quality food and efficient service. Every member of the staff were helpful giving just the right amount of attention.

Nice view out across the lake at Trentham Gardens. Made a friend, have named him Batman (See photos) Service was excellent. We had a small issue with some wasps and the waiter came and helped us move indoors. Nothing was too much trouble. Tea and toast was good too

Celebrated my 60th birthday here. Had an amazing night. Wonderful private venue overlooking lake and gardens. Delicious food, attentive staff. Chose ice cream option for desert, a hit with everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed by guests who said professional staff in informal setting.

First time we visited here and we will definitely be back. Waited for about a minute before we were greeted with a happy smiley face and taken to our table. We had some cheeky little banter with the waiter and were not disappointed with his recommendation off the menu. A very friendly atmosphere coupled with delightful refreshments. What more can you expect?

No complaint about the friendly attentive professional staff or of the food and drinks served. what is now a worry is the number of people with dogs inside the restaurant. in many cases more than one dog around the tables. some yapping others being fed under the table some on knees feeding off the table. not only are the staff at risk from who knows what when they clear a table but many dogs cause a potential trip hazard as well. We definitely think twice now before entering here to eat and drink. I'm not against dogs just the way some owners have little respect for hygiene.

Went to the lakeside cafe for some breakfast at 11am, breakfast served until 11.30. Notice at the entrance said please wait here to be seated. We waited, no one came so we helped ourselves to a table and joined the queue inside. Member of staff was walking the queue asking customers to make sure they had their table numbers ready to order. Got to the counter at 11.15am to be told they wern’t doing food at the moment and breakfast finished at 11. We left and went to the takeaway kiosk. Waited 20 minutes to buy sausage rolls only to be told they were still in the oven and wouldn’t be ready for another 15 minutes. Perhaps a management review needed!!

We have coffee here most weekends but have now decided not to bother again! Despite always asking for a hot coffee it is always warm. Also the staff have a habit of putting their fingers around the drinking area of the cup and don’t use the saucer or if a mug the handle. It’s very off putting! Today we decided to have an ice cream the girl that served us had one glove on and was holding the cone in the hand without a glove. I asked her if she could put a glove on the hand that was holding the cone and she said I only ever use one glove! The glove she did have on was covered in chocolate ice cream and was dripping into the vanilla. I think the staff could do with a lot more training in food h...

What an amazing experience! We went at the busiest time during lunch, group of 6 and we were seated almost instantly, kids were offered colouring kits. We ordered burgers and beers, and for little ones lunch bundle. I noticed the lady manager swooping a pint of a tray and returned it as wasn 't full to the brim, less than 1cm 'empty ' that I would have not noticed anyways as we were all absorbed by the woderul view of the lake. I don 't get the 1-4 starts reviews. This place is amazing, food served within 10-15 minutes from ordering in the peak times (that is not easy achievable of restaurant is not well orchestrated), tasty and right temperature.
