Decided to stop in and grab lunch … delicious food and excellent service. Great place to stop just beyond all the craziness of the tourist areas surrounding the Spanish Steps. Recommended.

Ho cenato in questo ristorantino nella bellissima via delle carrozze in un tranquillo giovedì sera. Lo staff é stato accogliente e mi sono trovata molto bene. Ho deciso di prendere le pepite di pollo con salsa agrodolce come antipasto e una classica carbonara. La carbonara era veramente speciale, buona buona buona. Promossa a pieni voti. Le pepite non erano male ma la salsa all'agrodolce dal mio punto di vista aveva poco carattere. Sicuramente un ristorante di buon livello ma in zona ho provato emozioni più forti.

Abbiamo cenato con degli amici in questo locale molto ben curato, i gestori sono molto attenti alle esigenze dei clienti e disponibili nel caso di variazioni al menù o richieste particolari. Siamo stati trattati con i guanti ma con quel tocco di familiarità che fa piacere trovare e che renda la cena piacevolissima.Consiglio fortemente i fritti vegetali come antipasto e la carbonara con tartufo (personalmente ho chiesto i rigatoni al posto del tonnarello) è eccezionale. Da lasciarsi uno spazio per il tortino al pistacchio con gelato al pistacchio!

I was going to rate this one higher until the end of our dinner. The food is good. The dining room is more spacious than many here which felt good after being in throngs of people. The waiter, Arturo is good up til the end where we asked us to add a tip to the bill and wouldn’t confirm that service was included. I felt like he was trying to take advantage of us as Americans. Of course service was included so why tip twice. Felt sleezeball and I don’t like that he treated us like tourists which of course we are but in Rome it feels like everyone is trying to take advantage of visitors and I simply don’t like that at all.
