Posto carino, solo per turisti...staff attento ma cibi di indubbia qualità

Giudizio Ottimo, personale gentilissimo, menù vario, anche x bambini, polenta e cinghiale buonissimo, prezzi onesti.

Situato in un borgo di Orta San Giulio proprio sul lago,cibo ottimo antipasto di salumi e formaggi, polenta con sugo di cinghiale da leccarsi le dita,tomino e verdure grigliate una squisitezza molto accoglienti

pasta from special board was tasteless and very small. fish from special board was served in small pieces - why not filet?! came with what looked like tinted carrots. definitiw no value for money. as another person said, is not busy well.

Totally unpretentious. Will never get a Michelin star and should never look for one. Italian food as it used to be. A family run affair, relaxed. Italians themselves eat here. Many places in Orta are chasing those stars, and the diner suffers as a result. We wanted good traditional Italian fare. We found it here. As I said unpretentious. Even down market. Two people had pasta with tomato and it was just pasta with passata sauce out of a bottle. I had the meat menu of the day with the same starter, some small pieces of chicken and beansin a nice sauce and a not-bad timerasu. Another...friend had a seafood pasta which was just passable and the only good dish was a friend who had grilled prawns. These were very good. Don't bother you get what you pay for. would have left the restaurant when they put oil, salt and pepper in bags. my cheese salad for the starter was boring with tasteless cheese and inadequate dressur. my men bark carpaccio was good. the most important courses among the worse we have eaten in italy. he: seafood...Risotto more like boiled rice with seafood, tasteless with none of the sawn a carefully prepared risotto. I: steak, hard and cooked. such a disappointment in a city full of great restaurants.

this restaurant is very Italian family style and casual. positiw: the service is very polite and cordial. good wine list and very genuine food served. great location. negatiw: it is not a place for a special occasion. the bathroom requires a short 15 foot outside road... directly over the old city gate. I stayed in orta san giulia with 3 friends on the way back to the airport malpensa after skiing in the Swiss. it was a great dinner stop. will be coming back! david Speisekarte ansehen
