"a star because I can't give it zero... for the honesty of the restaurateurs. I feel deceived! I booked the nod of san silvestro and asked me to pour a deposit of 20% with well over 20 days in advance... all this requested and executed through private chat and not through the site and therefore not made in total transparency. with 9 days in advance the table was canceled for reasons of greater force and underline for a protection of everyone! to the request for any refund .the answer was No... less bad than we asked you the advance .to the proposal to release a voucher to be oare in the future...the answer always No...even hotels, travels and thermal... they have free cancellation within 24 hours...were broken by crazy...we trust in common sense...you say you won't cover the table? I really want to see....I will certainly not be poorer, but you will surely dare more richer. I wish you to hate them in the best way.Ps. as you wanted to prove. . .even the unfriendly answer...the other people will not have raised a dust perhaps because of their money no matter anything, or they do not know that you can make negative reviews... or yet .they have left no advance. ..because they weren't of roma...cmq the transfer speaks of advance and not of deposit...for which the money to which title they were held....mah...."

"A pleasant discovery. As soon as we arrived in Cetona for our stay we were looking for a place to have lunch and start enjoying the local cuisine, and I would say it was a perfect start! Very large and beautiful place with possibility to eat outside with square view (our case). Accurate service and divine dishes. We ate an appetizer of Tiscani sausages with delicious fegatini crostini, then we continued with pappardelle to the ragù of chianina which is one of the first best I have ever eaten and pici to the ragù of duck also delicious. The portions are quite abundant and rich of seasoning, for this with a certain regret, we did not manage to continue with the second, which certainly would give us other flavors worthy of note. Even the suggested wine was of our taste! Appropriate price of 55 €. Council"

"I have reviewed this wonderful place before, and it is still our favorite. Great location, just across the road from the access to A1 autostrada and a shopping mall; large parking area off the road and in front. I should mention that it is also a hotel, so it is perfect for travelers! Fascinating decor throughout of vintage items, including cars. The service is friendly, personal and attentive, with the proprietors, Cristina and Giorgio, greeting you. Excellent wines available. Menu delightfully varied, superbly prepared and presented. This visit, two of us had the bisteca fiorentino and two the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, following a great antipasto board. Desserts are simply magnificent. We usually come here weekly for lunch, but this visit was a birthday and was made extra special by the great staff. Highly recommend for both regular visits and special occasions!"

"Taverna Il Patriarca is an upscale, but not overly so, restaurant with a menu similar to other places in town, but with a higher price point. Our experience was limited to a late lunch stop, so we can’t comment too extensively, but the the two soups we had were flavorful, a minestrone and an anchovy and cauliflower. Neither were terribly hot. The anchovies took the cauliflower flavor out of the soup. We had an excellent salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. Topped it with a nice house red. While all was fine, we had better, hotter soup elsewhere in town for substantially less money. Same with wine. Ten euros for a half liter was bout twice what we paid in other places and the wines were as good or better. Atmosphere is good, service excellent but a bit harried at times. We talked ourselves out of returning, what with all the other options in town. Worth a visit, however."
