"The waiter who virtually said nothing while we went for lunch today(Sunday)borders on being very rude.We asked to take some food home with us and he threw two tinfoil trays and a bag on our table,without uttering a word there were only four of us in the restaurant and two of those had just walked in.,this is not the first time his rudeness has surfaced.If anyone from Tulip Tandori happens to read this,look at the card payment details, you will notice that its the same card that over the past three years has spent over £100 a month with you on takeaway meals,good bye Tulip no more of my money will pass your way."

Been many times and I'm yet to be disappointed. Hopefully alcohol will be back soon but the zero alcohol was fine. My friend had never been before and like me he was impressed. Great menu reasonably priced. Excellent staff. Quick service. Tasty food. Thank you Team Tulip

What a great restaurant. Starting with Masala poppadoms, the appetisers fit perfectly. A Persian dish and a house speciality were the main courses with a couple of sides and the dishes cleared with the remaining naan bread! A perfect start to the weekend. Thank you Team Tandoori.

Although now known as Saffron Indian I notice when paying the payment is Tulip Tandori as is the sign outside. Different staff and currently not what it was in my opinion. I assume rightly or wrongly a different chef. Meal was OK but not where it was. The chocolate mints are tastless to finish the meal. Either way thank you Team Saffron

Management of Expectations curry for two ordered for delivery, with a one hour wait time. Food arrived at the door within ten minutes, piping hot and tasted great! Yeah, Jalfrezi could have been hotter (spicier) but the flavours were wonderful. Have sat in here before several times and never really been disappointed. Will definitely order again. Thank you!

Visited with work colleagues. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The food was excellent, large portions, piping hot and very tasty. The garlic naan was the best I have ever tasted, light and not at all stodgy. Very reasonable price came in at £17 a head for popadoms, pickles, 4 mains, rice, bread and drink. They don't have an alcohol licence but are happy for you to bring your own booze. Will certainly eat there again

Had a takeaway from this establishment about6/7 weeks ago and was extremely disappointed. I found the food bland and tasteless. Promised I would not go there again, however, I do love an Indian and with very little choice in the town, decided to give it another chance, after all we all get off days and gave them the benefit of the doubt. My meal and my wife’s came to over £40. Worst £40 I’ve ever spent. The meal was if anything worse than the last one we had. Deffo won’t be going again. Gurkhas oven here we come

"We've been here a couple of times before and it's been great, however our latest visit was not a great experience. Portions were small, presentation wasn't anything special, looked like meals I could of in nocked up myself as a quick tea at home, nothing special at all, certainly didn't look like a restaurant dining experience. Also, never come across a restaurant that stipulates on the menu if you want steak they need 48 hours notice! And even if they do, they should tell people when they book in as we had 2 of our party very disappointed on the night. The whole dining experience was also ruined by a group of loud, drunk locals sitting in the dining area and talking and swearing at the top of their voices so we couldn't even hear ourselves having a conversation. If people have paid for a dining experience no matter how bad that was, they should not have to put up with a table full of loud, swearing locals who were just there for the drink, keep the two things separate! Really dark and dingy in the restaurant, we struggled to read the menu due to how badly lit it was. The waitress started the evening by telling us what wasn't available off the menu, which in itself seemed odd at the beginning of the weekend to of already run out of so much. Needless to say this one bad experience overshadows previous good ones, it looks like the place has gone down hill, we won't be back! Must say though this is by no means a reflection of the staff they were lovely, it's on the owners!"
