Lovely little cafe There are a huge variety of unique pastries and breads I had an almond croissant my friend had the banana and caramel roll they were both really tasty Would visit here again

I visited this unique little bakery earlier this week impressed with the well displayed selection of unusual bread , pastries sandwiches. Took away a cappuccino sourdough pain au chocolate, both were really good. Refreshing to receive helpful, friendly service from the dark haired chap . I'll be back .

Visited the Portobello branch. Long day soo needed a pick me up coffee. Coffee was good, meticulously weighed out. Extra shot was £0.60. £3:80 for a rather small coffee. I didn’t mind that too much. What I did mind was I felt judged for being in tradesman’s clothes. Given my rather cool welcome, I doubt I’ll be back. Speisekarte ansehen

Fabulous. We grabbed rolls and bread for takeaway as we walked through Edinburgh early in the morning. It is a pity that our travels the next day took us in a different direction. The flakiness of the croissants was near perfection. Everyone enjoyed all that we purchased. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to treat themselves to such delicacies.

Stumbled across this fabulous little cafe in Melrose and so glad we did! It is tiny only about 3 tables inside but we were lucky enough to get one. Very friendly welcome and the two girls serving couldn’t have been more accommodating they had run out of the vegetarian sandwich option but rustled up something equally delicious for me thank you! Delicious cake and croissant too. Highly recommended.

This bakery produces really great cinnamon buns, almond croissants and a huge variety of other tasty pastries, bread and cakes. Coffee is very good too. Sometimes a small queue forms but it’s worth the wait. If you use the Stockbridge branch, take your pastries and coffee to Inverleith park, sit on one of the benches above the duck pond and take in spectacular views across the whole of Edinburgh. I have tried the food at the Easter Road branch and while some dishes are tasty, the prices are too high for what you get. I gave the deli a chance and paid over £20 for three items, as well as trying the bakery and coffee. The final straw was when I paid £5 for a small salad box that was only half filled. It seems like the staff are not eager to give customers their money's worth, so I will not be returning.

I went to the Stockbridge location and watched as the staff cleaned the counters, filled the dog's bowl with water, and ignored customers without even saying hello. I quickly decided that if they didn't want to serve me, I wouldn't give them my business. It shouldn't be so difficult for them to make a sale. It was a terrible experience, and I won't be returning. There are plenty of other places to purchase baked goods.

I visited the Easter Road branch recently with a friend. Scones were nice though I'm not happy with the baking being out on open display exposed to all the customers browsing or placing their orders. A see-through screen is needed for hygiene reasons (like Red Kite has round the corner e.g. . Our first coffee order of 2/3 long blacks was just what we wanted. A different server did our second order, and brought full cups and not the shorter coffees we had ordered. When we told her this she simply took them away and poured away 1/3, entirely missing the point that what we ordered was shorter stronger coffees!
