Urban - Speisekarte

After humming and hawing for several days over where a group of us were eating tonight, we finally settled on the Urban Brasserie.

Yelp says 3*=A OK so I'll go with that I came here in a party of ten to take advantage of the private dining offer from a local deals website.

Having never been inside I wasn't sure what to expect - a really nice pub style vibe was my guess, so I was shocked to walk into find a beautiful full blow Speisekarte ansehen

quality. tonight was amazing. from beginning to end we were visited for everyone. I had the suppe to begin, which was soaked with taste and aromatized! the personal is attentive, not intrusive. I'll be back!

we had a very impressive dinner in the urban bar recently with friends who can book over opentable is a very big plus, all restaurants should work with this company. we sat inside, as it was cool, but there is an outside sitting area that must be beautiful in summer. our waitress was very attentive and helpful, eating was very good, its seasonal menu that constantly changes.

Excellent food, service impeccable.. I have been there on two occasions, once for my birthday and once for another's Both occasions have been excellent. The food was beautiful, the wine was perfect with the meal and the staff were extremely polite and deserving of good tips Also, you should check out the bar if you're waiting to be seated or just in general. eating was okay, but the experience was pretty bad overall. there were 10 of us, so we were told that we were a big party and had to choose a fixed price menu in advance. the fixed price came to £5-£10 more than if we were paid for what we would be eaten to the regular menu prices, and we had significantly less choice we sat right next to a (very loud) piano that made it difficult to run calls while we dined the service was quite slow (one of our party had to go to pick up his train after taken the first time before they had paid the wits

Urban Bar Brasserie is inside a beautiful building – the interior is not really anything special but the exterior is architecturally pleasing to the eye (says someone who knows nothing about architecture and can only give comments along the lines of “that’s very pretty” or “that’s a bit ugly” The style of dining is somewhere between casual and fine. What I found quite amusing was that the servers were what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant (crisp white shirts, immaculate long white aprons, good posture) but their mannerisms didn’t quite match that. I hate to say this but we were disappointed. The food is still wonderful. The problem was the portion size. We had, for our main Boar and Apple sausages with a buttery mash and an Onion Gravy. Quality was first class, quantity was non existent. We looked at one another when the plates were brought out. Not impressed. Come on Urban. Please have a think about portions. It's the 1st time I've left Urban and could genuinely have went for a burger somewhere as I was really hungry 07 Aug, 2011 I've reviewed this place before but, after tonights meal have to do so again.
