"We went to this restaurant as a large family after a nice day out for Eid. We usually eat at Turkish restaurants and ordered a mix of BBQ, doner and very overpriced kids meals (nuggets and chips £8.95? . Compared to other restaurants, the appetisers were very small and four adults having to share one very small portions and the salad had no tomato and very dry. We had to constantly ask for things from very uninterested waiters, including Turkish bread and water. When the food arrived: the adana kebab were very small, literally half the size of other restaurants. The 2 skewers put together would equal one elsewhere. the lamb shish only 4 small cubes? very small portions of chicken doner for THAT price all the BBQ meals did not have anything next to them apart from the meat and chips no salad, no onion, no grilled tomato Also, the menu says each meal has mushroom and this was not provided. To top it off, we were given a piece of sweet and asked if we wanted tea and we said yes. A minute later, they came back to tell us there is no tea and would take 25 minutes and we felt like we were being kicked out of the restaurant with the way it was said. Since when does it take that long to make tea? When we mentioned to the waiter, the reply was 'I gave you more than enough ' This was an awful experience and ruined a very enjoyable day for us. This is not cheap and we will not recommend this to anyone."

Very disappointed with the experience. Food was hot, £8.99 side was awful. 5 slices of avocado. No olive oil/greek dressing. Pizza Main, pathetic.....never ever again....time for a Greek restaurant.

Starters very expensive and not presented very well. Main course ok but very pricey for what we had., nothing special. We felt quite rushed even though they were not busy. Bread very hard and cold. Drinks were standard prices. Speisekarte ansehen

I’ve been visiting Vadi since last year. I’m always looking forward for day out in there.Food it’s amazing, staff welcoming and helpful and manager and the owner they are making you feel like you’re most important guests. They always saying hello and asking how are you , even if they are super busy , they always got time for you. Highly recommend if you want to try the best food in London.

Absolute rip off, so bad, i would not usually even bother but their greed is disgusting, i bought a mixed kebab for £21 and chips for £6.50 and then delivery for a total £31.50. Let me say this was not magical chips or time warp kebab, in fact just a couple of chunks of meat on top of plain rice, very, very ordinary. Food is what you can expect from any decent kebab shop at 50% less cost, this place has no concept of value for money its ridiculous.

Ate here tonight! Wow! Couldn’t believe how the prices have shot up!! Free starters are gone! Had a very very sad looking salad then had to pay £6.50 for hummus that the waitress shows you what there selling from a very large tray that sits on the counter ALL the evening!! Both had mixed shish one with rice and one with chips! Served on a much smaller plate!! 5 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of lamb! That’s it!! Never again !! Try The Fox pub instead!! This place used to be great and i still think it has potential. The menu has a good selection on it, the staff are friendly and the actual quality of the meat was tasty and good. However the negatives are there's too many staff attending to your table which can confusing things for themselves. The bread was cold and dense. The cold starters felt room temperature, and on a hot day it wasn't that great to be at that temperature. The lahmacun wasn't tasty in comparison to other places, the bulgur/couscous was cold, the calamari wasn't nice, tasted like it was cooked from frozen and the price was very expensive we felt for what we had. I would get a takeaway from here saying that, with some sort...

Vadi was a local gem and we have been huge fans and regulars for years. went Friday 4 November for a family birthday. On entering it seemed different, staff unfamiliar and had liost the friendly bustling atmosphere. The menu has changed and prices have increased massively . the Vadi Special is now called the family platter. It was great value at about £59 but is now £79.99. there used to be lots of sides of dips and entrees that arrived automatically but these had disappeared The food was still good but it was much quieter than usual especially for a Friday night and the former atmosphere has completely gone. The. staff have mostly changed and were ok but didn’t do any of the specials birthd...

"Three of us invaded this lovely eatery in Chingford on a busy Saturday night, and we weren 't disappointed. We were warmly greeted by Silvo and shown to our table. The decor remains unchanged: romantic lighting, light coloured walls, and prints of Italian locations. Armed with two Aperol Spritz, we perused their wide ranging menu, especially when you include their Specials ' board. Accompanied by welcoming background music and the polite chatter and laughter from other diners already there, we made our selection. Soon, Orazio joined us, and the chat and laughter began with Silvo and Orazio. Our starters consisted of Avocado and Prawns for two; and Avocado, Prawns, and crab for one, off their specials ' board. The freshness and flavour were outstanding. Our mains were as great, too. There was Lamb, fresh Tuna, both with sides; and one Linguine Marinara: all were presented and prepared to perfection. This was baptised with our traditional Primitivo: a full bodied red from Italy with a hint of sweetness and an appetising aroma. We gluttons then found room for dessert: profiteroles and ice cream; afrogato, and an apple pie drizzled off menu with Amaretto. These were delicious. We concluded this culinary perfection with an Americano, lemon tea, a cappuccino, and two black Sambucas. Plus, complimentary ones from our gracious hosts grazie mille, Silvo. It was truly a splendid dining experience. Our compliments to the chef for his artistry and friendliness, and a big 'thank you ' to all at La Baita for the chat, laughter, and superb cuisine. We will be back soon. Until then, keep smiling, be safe, and happy. Ciao."
