Siamo tornati al ristorante veneziano di randazzo per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Superfluo dire che abbiamo fatto la scelta giusta, antipasti e primi ottimi, funghi superlativi e per finire una straordinaria bistecca di carne siciliana sapientemente suggerita dal professionale Andrea. The restaurant is in the countryside, in a quiet location close to mount Etna. We went there after visiting Le Gole dell’Alcantara and had the best meal of the area surrounding Taormina. The food quality is high and the service is very good. Is a great place to have a relaxing and tasty meal. Highly recommended the Antipasto dello Chef (20 little tasting) and ravioli with patate, speck and pistacchio.

Visit this place with adult kids. We arrived on time yet the staff where having their dinner. No issues apart from ignoring us completely. The food of one of us was served cold they took it back without any apologies, very pretentious staff!! The place is highly overpriced compared to the prices and quality you find in the zone. The main courses had only a local wild vegetable which was very sour and nothing else, portions are small. This place is full of pretentions compared to the many humble and passionate family run places around Randazzo. To avoid for sure. Last dinner of our holiday, worst one.

On a recommendation we stopped for luch, arrived while staff eating, but we were profusely welcomed and tended to. English here is very limited and credit cards not accepted, be forewarned! We shared the beef tartare, flavored with lemon and mint (very subtly) scattered currants, a few blueberries and a spoonful of caviar. Sublime. I couldnt resist the idea of stuffed fresh pasta in pistaccio crema, so delicious. We didnt see any of the feral black pork on the menu, so i asked and they made up a plate of the sausage with sauteed spinach just for us. We had incredible red wine by the glass (too much driving back to giadini naxos for a bottle) connoli and cafe all for 56 euros. We are so happy... Speisekarte ansehen
