Vesuvio - Speisekarte

Another great meal in our favourite Italian. Cannot fault the food here.

BBQ ribs were ok but a bit tough, couldnt say the meat fell off the bone. The seafood linguine was really good.

My wife and I visited Vesuvio for the first time last Saturday. We had a lovely 2 course meal and the food was brilliant. Great menu choice, including small portions and daily specials. Service was brilliant aswell. Couldn’t fault our evening and look forward to returning. Speisekarte ansehen

Waited 30 mins for table for 4 booked for 8pm, food was really good then we weren’t asked if we wanted to see dessert menu. 40 mins later had to ask for one. Waiter seemed to be anxious to finish his shift. Lighting too bright and not a comfortable setting. We won’t return.

Absolutely stunning food, we had octopus oysters and bruschetta to start and it was amazing, the pasta dishes served for mains were out of this world!! The service was outstanding and an all round great feel to the restaurant. Would recommend to anyone who loves seafood or Italian dishes

I attended a wedding for some Sicilian/Italian friends (Valentina and Danielle) and a fantastic time was had!! The team working were brilliant, extremely friendly and accommodating. I am gluten intolerant and they went out of their way to make sure I was well looked after, the food was fantastic!!! Speisekarte ansehen

We've passed this place many times but only just recently dined here. It's hidden away (other than the sign you wouldn't know it's there). We were welcomed by friendly staff and a pleasant, well decorated restaurant. The food came quite quickly but it was very nice. I'd love to come back and try more of the pasta dishes

Noisy, crowded, too many tables in a small room. Starters were ok, pretty basic. For main course had swordfish, which was ok (oily, tasting of nothing but garlic) but all it came with was a small side dish of veg which were so undercooked the carrots were hard, let alone the broccoli which was raw. Will not visit again.

Have just returned from a 70 th birthday meal at Versuvio. We have been here many times before . I don’t know if it’s under new management but the service tonight was terrible. Admittedly it was very busy but on carrival , nobody took our drinks orders , so I had to find someone to get us a drink . Then I had to find someone to take our food order , drinks took ages to arrive. Food took ages to arrive.Garlic bread was forgotten . Nobody checked if we wanted any more drinks , which we did , so I once again I had to stop a waiter to get us drinks . It was as if. nobody knew who was serving who , it was chaos .
