"This charming little pub features a lovely and varied menu in a beautiful setting. I called in for lunch while waiting for my car's MOT to be completed nearby, and it was a delightful decision. The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes, and the staff were attentive and friendly. My soft drink tasted a bit weak, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was just near the end of the mix rather than intentionally watered down. Just a heads-up: this place doesn’t accept cash, so make sure to bring a card!"

Had a lovely sandwich and chips for lunch here. Dog friendly inside (might be to the right near the bar only). There are some matts the dogs can lay down on too.

The restaurant has a beautifully cozy atmosphere, and the food was excellent. We ordered apple and pear soup, fish and chips, and turkey roast. The portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable.

quite unlauterered place from outside, but really juicy on the inside. the staff was very friendly and attentive. the selection of food and drinks was very good. my burger was one of the best I had in a long time and the wobble rings were the hands down which I had ever had. Thank you.

The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is outstanding. We've visited several times for drinks after work, and we also enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast. We had a minor issue with one of the side dishes, but one of the waiters promptly addressed it, and they were honest enough to remove it from our bill. I highly recommend this place for both food and drinks!
