If you fancy any Vietnamese food from this cafe....you need CASH, not 50£ note AND they don’t accept bronze coins...!!! TOO MANY CONDITIONS Be prepared!!! Otherwise, choose other restaurants so you’ll save your good mood!!

The Viet cafe has nice tasty currys, although the meat can be a bit fatty, the portions are good, it is flavoursome and comes quickly. I have not tried the sandwiches but they look good. Would recommend for dinner or lunch!

We love the food but the owner is not customer friendly. Finally accepting card payment but all of a sudden prefers CASH! now what?? you will lose your loyal customers! at least the owner could have a pleasant attitude towards customers!

I had the best pho at Viet Café in Denmark Hill on Saturday. The Banh Mi was delicious and very authentic. The café has a rustic atmosphere and is a great place to meet with friends or enjoy some time alone. The tables were cleaned promptly after customers left. We didn't have to wait long for our food after ordering. I highly recommend this place.

Had a very unpleasant experience today. Ordered sweet and sour prawn and noodle dish only to have it served at what I would call a tepid temperature. After alerting the staff they took it away only to reheat in the microwave and bring back to the table In my opinion a very lazy chef and a very uninviting meal. Extremely disappointed . This restaurant is mainly used by tourists .

I always come to this restaurant as often as I can. The pho is delicious, with high-quality beef and a tasty broth. It's also a great value. The vermicelli salads and banh mi are also fantastic. I have never had a bad meal here and always look forward to coming back. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. This place is truly flawless and is my favorite spot in London, especially for a relaxed, affordable meal.

After reading reviews and making a quick phone call, we made a reservation at this restaurant (the online booking system wasn't working). We were heading to the theater and this seemed like a good choice. The restaurant has a basic setup, but the prices are very reasonable and the service was exceptionally fast. They made sure to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies, even suggesting something off the menu that was delicious. They don't clear the tables between courses, which adds to the atmosphere and I appreciate not feeling rushed. Overall, I was very pleased with the simple, speedy, and tasty experience here.

Went here for lunch on Sat, we had the Viet Special Banh Mi, Beef stew with Baguette, and a grilled pork with rice to share. All tasted amazing and the grilled pork was divine. Payment was very simple, you scan a QR code, view the menu, place your order indicating your table number, and pay by card, enabling fully contactless service, so I'm not sure what the previous reviewers meant about needing to pay by cash. You can also pay by cash if you wish. Cafe counter had see-through screens as a protective measure against Covid. My partner and I went here for lunch, he has never tried the banh mi (Vietnamese baguette) before so I took him here. Also we have never been to this place before so we thought we give it a try, wish we hadn’t. The place was absolutely filthy, old and need refurbishment, the toilets was shocking and dirty. The staff are rude, the owner is very rude and abrupt. Their customer service is appalling, they don’t know how to serve/treat customers. The food was shocking, the banh mi was horrible, very dry and had absolutely no taste whatsoever. I don’t know what the hell I ate but it was definitely not a Vietnamese baguette.
