delicious food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. we have been a few times since it has been so practical for friends from different directions with jails.

The dining experience was truly fantastic. My friend remarked that his steak was the best he's ever had, and my spinach and sweet potato curry was delicious!

The service was very poor, and the menu left much to be desired. I was never given a menu for drinks or appetizers. I also had trouble finding anyone to assist me with the bill, so I ended up having to wait. Overall, it was a lackluster experience.

We do like it here, but didn’t quite reach standards of previous dining. Staff were a bit muddled at times. Third time lucky with drinks after the first 2 choices were not available. Food was not really hot enough and beef disappointing. Daughter enjoyed her turkey. Will try again sometime but probably not for Sunday lunch.

I took my mum for her 65th birthday and it was absolutely lovely. There is lots of choice for all inclusive starters and desserts which are just the right size. The food was exceptional and the service was very attentive. I had a buy one get one free voucher but would have been worth the full price and we will definitely be back. Speisekarte ansehen

I’ve been to The Village for their Sunday carvery in many previous occasions however I will not be back, we had to wait an hour for our food, which arrived cold and the vegetables were what can only be described as hard as rocks! When asked if we had enjoyed our meal our server told us that there had been many complaints that day! Sums it up really!!! The staff seemed completely oblivious to what was going on around them, not their fault but obviously due to a lack of management presence and training! My friends empty soup bowl sat for about half an hour before being cleared away despite two servers having approached our table. I also have a severe nut allergy which I explained to our waiter...

The pub and grill is severely under-staffed, resulting in extremely slow service. We waited 50 minutes for our main courses, and both orders were incorrect. They took the dishes back to correct the mistakes, but they were wrong again upon return. My partner ordered a chicken dish that was supposed to come with two chicken breasts, but it only had one. We then waited an additional 10 minutes for that to be resolved. I had ordered the Village Stackburger, and upon seeing it being served, I thought it looked different from what I had read on the menu. DisgustEd and utter disappointment in the way my party of four were treated . I had booked a table for 4 people at midday as a treat for my parents before going to Strickly come dancing today. when we arrived there was a board closing of the restaurant and so we went into the bar where we approached and told the restaurant was going to be full with an oil company function and waved away to find ourselves a table in the bar. My parents are elderly and can not manage up to the high tables so we eventually found a round table for the four of us to sit. The table and chairs were dirty and covered with food.
