You have to drive which could be a down point but you only need one Pint/wine, great food and you can sup-up the relaxed friendly chatty, atmosphere. Nice local find. Good food and family friendly. Has a great garden with a range of animals to keep the kids entertained. Food was very tasty and well priced.

The food at this restaurant was amazing, way better than your typical pub fare. The added bonus of animals and outdoor play area made it extra special for the kids. We were surprised at how quiet it was on a Saturday afternoon. The only downside was the lack of a baby changing station in the men's restroom.

Regrettably, our server neglected to take our drink order, but she did apologize. Furthermore, our initial choices for dessert (raspberry sorbet and lemon sorbet) were unavailable. Upon receiving our bill, we realized our drinks had not been included. Nevertheless, despite these small setbacks, we had a lovely evening commemorating our anniversary.

"We wanted to celebrate a family occasion, and we were delighted with our experience. From the warm handshake at the entrance to the beautiful reception, the service was exceptional and incredibly accommodating. The food was outstanding, with a great selection, and we enjoyed delicious hot naan, pickles, and poppadoms. The young waiter was particularly polite and helpful, which was refreshing to see. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and everything came highly recommended. To make our celebration even more special, the restaurant surprised us with a lovely cake and candles. They also provided drinks and towels after dinner. I cannot recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant highly enough. Thank you for an unforgettable, personalized evening. "Booked a table very easily online and had a delicious cod’n’chips. Chips were particularly fluffy like my mums old fashioned chips. Followed with a custard tart, which I scoffed way too quickly, and soy flat white. Absolutely delicious. Fantastic service from Kerry and Chloe. "I'm proud to call myself a weekly regular and I've been eating at Gina's cafe for many, many years. As someone who both enjoys food and travels a lot, I can, hand on heart, say that Gina's Cafe is my favourite cafe. Period. I've very rarely had a bad experience here, and I always leave satisfied. I'm a huge fan of the chicken curry with chips or the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette. The salad is very fresh and the chips are perfect! The staff are very pleasant and always take care to speak to my 6 year old son if he eats well, they let him choose a lolly before he leaves. Pricing is about what you'd expect from a cafe and the quality and cleanliness is superb. There is only one toilet, accessed from the garden, however it is clean. I would avoid trying to get a table at the busiest times it is normally very busy here and would recommend not sitting directly next to the front door or on the smallest tables if there is more than one person dining. There are some high chairs available, and a good selection of hot and cold drinks."

"Found out that under new ownership since October 2023, so recommendations to me were based on friends experience with previous owners. The manager was friendly and very attentive, asking lots of questions, explaining their menu when asked, telling me that the interior will be changed in the near future. Anyway, for starters we chose Calamari, Garlic Mushrooms with Cheese, King Prawns, and Halluomi. We then all helped ourselves to bits and pieces of each. The starters were plentiful in portion size, with all choices being great, especially the garlic mushrooms with cheese. For mains we chose a mixed grill, chicken shish, lamb ribs, and chicken wings and chips for my daughter. The chicken and lamb shish were both tender and full of flavour, and the lamb ribs were great. They all came with slad and bulgur (I can only describe it as a cross between rice and cous-cous).The mixed grill was plentiful in size and looked appetising, but my father in law enjoyed that all to himself , so I can only assume it was good. My daughter enjoyed her chicken wings too We were given bread on the table, which was warm and full of flavour too. We were definitely made to feel welcome, and will definitely return. Good to know that they deliver too. We were at the restaurant early (5pm booking), so were the only people in the restaurant, however, there was a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders for delivery. It was my daughters birthday the following day, so tye manager gave her a small dessert on the house as well. Parking: A few parking spaces on the street just a couple of doors down from the restaurant , where you use the RingGo App or good old cash to pay for parking."

"My husband and I had a date night dinner , The lamb Biryani and Saag Aloo, were the worst I have ever had. I couldn 't eat the Saag Aloo because it was too hot with whatever they had added, chillies or spices I managed to eat a small amount of the Biryani but again any aromatic flavours were overpowered by the added spices or chillies. My mouth and lips were burning. We didn 't eat all of the meal. I would have told the waitress when we paid the bill if she had bothered to ask if we enjoyed the meal. We have been there before but there should not be such inconsistency with the flavour of the food. We will vote with our feet and not bother again. We will stick to the Gurkha in Chatham in future."
