"We went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch last weekend. The owner greeted us warmly and we had a nice chat with him. We were seated at a table in the bar and ordered two roast beef lunches. While we waited, we enjoyed a glass of wine and a delicious local ale. The meals were fantastic - the beef was flavorful and tender, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and everything was served hot. We also each had a dessert, which was homemade and very tasty. We left feeling very full as the portions were quite generous. The pub was bustling with a friendly vibe. This restaurant is known for its excellent home-cooked food, reasonable prices, and laid-back atmosphere. It is highly recommended to make a reservation for Sunday lunches."

Not been here for 15+ yrs then it was good. So we had a ride out from North Somerset and stopped off for Lunch. On a Friday. Well it’s not changed. Derick and Allan were behind the bar and it was the same old welcome has before. The food on offer was a good choice. We opted for their Fresh Brixham fish. That’s was very tasty. Only difference back then the chips were cooked in Beef Dripping. Wasn’t the same. But good. The portions were first class. The service was Excellent both the food and behind the bar.
