Relaxed atmosphere but still feels special with a nice ambience. Cosy on a wet day outside. Good service with a friendly waiter. Really very delicious food! Price fair for the wonderful quality of food. Drinks are on the pricey side. Would definitely visit regularly if we lived in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent Sunday lunch in this lovely pub. The pub is nicely decorated with a stunning garden. The roast was really good plentiful and well cooked. Service was friendly and fun (Benji was very patient with our sheninigans!! And the my were excellent for coeliacs, the menu was clearly marked and those who couldn’t eat gluten were really well catered for. Speisekarte ansehen

Absolutely faultless meal! Cannot say there is anything I would change about or delicious meal. We each had 3 courses which is unheard of for us but it all looked so good and we were still talking about it the day after. The Tonka bean panna cotta deserves a special mention as does the cod with wild garlic tagliatelle. Service was efficient but not effusive. Can't wait to go back!

A fantastic view IF the weather is suitable but the prices are extortionate. A small bag of crisps is £1.95 and a 175ml glass of white wine is £10.50. How can they justify this? when most other establishments charge almost half! This slightly ruined the occasion (knowing that you're being ripped off). There are several other local pubs in which to enjoy a drink at a realistic price, I would recommend them.

I arrived at the pub just after 5 p.m. on a Sunday, as the sign outside displayed opening hours from 12-8 p.m. However, I was told they were closing early and could not serve me any beer. When I inquired about the 8 p.m. closing time listed on the sign, I was informed that it was only for the summer season. I pointed out the discrepancy to the owner, who simply replied that they had not updated the sign and did not offer an apology. Speisekarte ansehen

While visiting England from Australia to see family, we were looking for a traditional English pub and found the perfect spot. The location was lovely with stunning views of the countryside to the south and they served authentic beer. I especially enjoyed the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and all the fixings on a Sunday - it was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The landlord and staff were welcoming and friendly, making it a memorable experience. Thank you to everyone at the pub for a great meal and happy memories.

We stayed the night in one of the 4 rooms at this wonderful pub and had dinner. The food was excellent, tasted delicious, looked good and a good variety of choices. Well above the standard of a gastro pub. Good choice of local beers and gins. The service was really friendly and attentive, Tiffany was brilliant, so friendly, helpful and happy. The room was very well appointed, it had everything weneeded, with a big bathroom and powerful shower. The outside seating area is large and has a spectacular view, all the way to the coast. I thoroughly recommend the White Hart for food and to stay.

We arrived at the restaurant just after noon for lunch. Upon arrival, we were completely ignored by the bartender, even though there were no other customers waiting. Eventually, he acknowledged us and we ordered two coffees and two pints of beer, as well as inquired about the lunch menu. He asked if we had a reservation, to which we replied that we did not. He then informed us that we could not dine there without a reservation. After waiting for our drinks, the beers were served and he disappeared. Several minutes later, he returned with the coffees and a couple of sugar packets. We decided to move outside and I went back inside to ask for more sugar, only to find four other customers waitin...
