"We have had Sunday lunch hear previously and a bar meal last weekend. On both occasions we enjoyed the food and service. Therefore we decided to book Sunday lunch and invited my Dad. On arrival we were surprised that it was not to busy and there were plenty of free tables. Our drinks order was taken and then our food. Not too complicated; two lamb and one Beef. One of the drinks orders arrived incomplete, but was corrected quickly (we should have sensed the what was to come). Food soon arrived and plates containing meat/roast potatoes/Yorkshire pudding were placed in front of us. We filled our plates with the shared veg and gravy. We then noticed that I did not have a stuffing ball and the others no Yorkshire Pudding! We complained and these items arrived soon after. I was only then that I tried the lamb, only to find it was beef! My Dad then said his beef tasted odd, yes it was lamb! We were offered a new meal each, but to be honest this would have left us eating at different times. My Dad was given a microwaved piece of beef. He could not chew this as it was dry and tough. Throughout the whole time we were left feeling like they did not really care. We were then presented with a bill for two lamb and one beef! Again this seemed to pass them by. Overall really disappointing considering good previous visits. Also no track and trace information was taken."

Lovely Sunday lunch £6.50 each and great value for money too. Food was plentiful and delicious and the veg was not overcooked. Definitely returning.

This has turned into our local place to eat on a weekend. The food is fabulous, very tasty and very reasonably priced. Good service and the staff are very accommodating.

Typical pub grub menu but all a little basic. Nothing wrong with the meals but just nothing special either. Ok for an hour out of the house when you don’t feel like cooking.

Rude bar staff. Miserable bar staff. 2 new landlords that are running the pub to the ground. Went just after 8pm on a Sunday and it was closed. Told that people in there were told to leave after drinks because they wanted to close. Dont bother going there

If you’re looking for a good place to eat and greet for friends, family or club members you can’t go wrong here. Food and drink are good value, the place is clean and tidy and staff are great. Also plenty of room for parties with a conservatory type dining area if required.

When this pub first opened it was a great place to visit. Now there are different people running it and it's gone downhill. The last few weeks I've been there its gone quiet and the place is freezing cold. Staff are not friendly. The place needs a shake up before it declines anymore.

Got kicked off a reserved table (nobody really here because of accident on the roads caused chaos). Woman was shouting and loud behind the bar. Quite obnoxious, arrogant and rough. Sat in a small booth where me and others were placed and all we could hear was her shouting voice behind the bar while we tried to chat

I called in for a drink with a friend for a drink as I was new to the area and it was a nice place. A few days later I decided to take my family there for a meal so I looked them up on the internet and was unable to access their menu. I phoned them and asked why the menu isn't available to view and was told I have to go on Facebook. What a way to run a Restaurant. I then booked a table for 8 at a Restaurant in Treorchy that had a menu on their website
