"Went to my sons 50th birthday meal. Arrived at 7 o’clock...unbooked walk in customers would struggle to find a seat....very busy....layout was excellent and the staff very attentive and helpful....so why only 4 stars instead of 5....the fish was excellent, cooked to perfection but the chips were hard...mostly un-eatable, and not that presentable....harsh I know but not impressed. The 3 strawberry ice cream desert was of poor taste...sorry but it just tasted and looked like vanilla...I really would have preferred to give it 5 stars as I don’t like not to...but there is definitely room for improvement to go with the organisation and waiting staff input. All in all though a very enjoyable night out."

Fully deserving of all the plaudits received. An excellent menu combining some interesting flavours and ideas. Excellent variety and at a very reasonable cost. Would thoroughly recommend. Beer list was excellent.

Wonderful spot! We made a reservation for lunch and it was a lovely experience. The pub has a nice balance of being quiet yet lively, creating a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

I enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch featuring two well-presented courses that tasted fantastic. I also tried two of their own beers from Otley, with a great view of the brewery. The solid DIPA was impressive, and their traditional red ale was one of the best I've had in quite some time, rivaling Polly's Linnu. Plus, there's a shop in the back—it's truly a beer lover's paradise!
