Winter Green - Speisekarte

this is now our 'gate to' for a decent local carvery. clean, clean, friendly staff, 'local pub' vibe and the meat, they know how to cook nicely. Add a huge scrap box of tasty for our dog and it is a winner all 'round.

had a nice carvery here for Sunday dinner. very generous with the meat proportions and good Veg series. more beautiful are the employees. they are very friendly and accommodating. very good with my young neffen. would have eaten again. a cupcake was raised

Friendly staff with good pub grub. We had 2 large carveries with drinks and the bill came to just over £25. Would visit again. Lovely interior, large venue and warm inside always a plus in winter! Plenty of parking. Was busy when we visited on today at 2.30pm.

There’s a sign at the bar saying “warm welcome” well I experienced anything but! There was a guy stood at the door who was a bit of a jobsworth just because I’d walked straight past him and was looking for my daughter I’d just gone for a drink and I think it’s mainly aimed at people wanting to have a meal

This is our local and we always enjoy visiting. Carvery is delicious and definitely value for money. Pleased that they have a gluten free menu and that there is good choice for Coeliacs. Always clean and lovely inside and Kylie is a joy to be served by, always friendly and polite. We will be back again soon. Recommended.

Just amazing! Best Carvery in the town! …. The team worked so so hard today to deliver 47 meals tasty, hot, and delicious at a great value…. They trimmed the place up so well and all was really enjoyable, plus nothing was to much trouble for the team here and they were so supportive to us all. Well done team Winter Green, just amazing!

Emma and the team welcomed the opportunity to cater for a large group today following my boys baptisms. Nothing was too much trouble… even helping my little one at the Carvery. Speaking of which… the Carvery was on point we definitely weren’t disappointed. Always a pleasure to visit the Winter Green, credit to the team working today, thank you!

Party of 3, we arrived just before 4pm Sunday and had 2 courses each. Due to it being busy I didn't order until 4:27pm. The starters came out 30mins later. The mains didn't come out until another 45mins after that. Numberous items of food were missing, sides and items that were apart of dishes. Steaks, pork, chicken, gammon were all burnt and overcooked. Brought out cold. Hardly any staff around to complain too!

we were really impressed by the service, we asked to change a drink as it was flat, the workers think their name was di helped us without complaining. she was beautiful, very efficient. eating was nice, especially the lemon, muffin cheesecake. it was absolutely the hands down the best dessert we had in old. also love the fact that we can have the dogs in the beer garden. this is something that many pubs have stopped and really appreciate that winter green allows this. all in all in beautiful Impromptu visit, we have come one and will see them again very soon. Thanks again.
