The Winter Green New Marstons Tavern Catcliffe

I highly recommend this restaurant for its food, especially the carvery which is amazing. The beef and mashed potatoes are particularly delicious.

OMG what an amazing place this is. The Carvery was amazing and the staff are so friendly. After dinner we all sat down and had the giant cakes. We’ll be back soon.

Absolutely superb carvery! Best we've had anywhere for a long time. The beef and turkey was cooked to perfection and coupled with the lovely staff and nice and chatty chef, it made for a very nice early evening meal. Would highly recommend!

Not really enjoyed our meal tonight,waited more than 45 minutes for food order ,it was okay certainly not up to usual standard and items missing from a special I ordered.my sons carvery was fine.we come in a lot and this is the first we've had an issue did get a free desert x 1 after highlighting issues .

Go on regular basis but am always disappointed if I have carvery, we go around 4pm, so probably getting what's been out all afternoon,the beef is always dried up and Yorkshire pudding rock hard,tried again this week gave chef the Yorkshire pudding back as it was cold never even got a comment,other food on menu ok Speisekarte ansehen

I came with my partner for a lovely meal drink absolutely loved it very friendly staff meals came out hot thanks to Chris the chef staff all the waitresses were wonderful lovely service with a smile , showed us the Christmas menu we was thinking off booking great menu choices will full recommend to all my family and friends

Party of 3, we arrived just before 4pm Sunday and had 2 courses each. Due to it being busy I didn't order until 4:27pm. The starters came out 30mins later. The mains didn't come out until another 45mins after that. Numberous items of food were missing, sides and items that were apart of dishes. Steaks, pork, chicken, gammon were all burnt and overcooked. Brought out cold. Hardly any staff around to complain too!

Greeted by great staff at the bar served well ordered food that went ok. Normally some one comes and tells us when the mains meals are almost ready so the ones having carvery can go for their meals this didn’t happen. The two burgers that had been order where over cooked and dry The selection on the carvery was very poor an even though we had order the large meal the amount of meat was very poor. The veg selection wasn’t brilliant the stuffing was so dry it became like bird feed On returning to our table and starting to eat the comments from us all was the veg was barely warm in-fact cold. We mentioned this to the server who came and asked if every thing was ok and her response was oh ok and... Speisekarte ansehen
