Woodman - Speisekarte

Great venue with superb afternoon tea. We were served by Jack who has excellent customer service skills and was extremely attentive. You will not find a better afternoon tea anywhere around the Wallington, Banstead, Carshalton area.

We are regular visitors to The Woodman, and it never fails to disappoint. Friendly staff, delicious food and a large selection of drinks. The large back garden in the summer is lovely and our kids love it when the bouncy castle is up too. Highly recommend.

The pub is in a really nice area. The Sunday roast (lamb) was absolutely banging, the dessert (sticky toffee pudding with ice cream) also banged! Me and my 3 friends stayed longer than anticipated and didn’t feel rushed. Lovely service from the team. Definitely coming back again. Speisekarte ansehen

Stopped en route to Gatwick airport for lunch. It was a warm, sunny day so decided to eat in the garden and even though we were outside the service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The meal was delicious. We will definitely go back when we return from our trip for a repeat!

I've started visiting the pub on a regular basis and absolute love it! The staff are super friendly and provide a great atmosphere. Loz was super helpful on a Sunday going out of her way to find us a table during a very busy service. Nothing was a problem. The food was also great, especially the roast!

My first visit to this establishment: felt homely and welcome, with spacious garden area .Enjoyed fish and chips, and did not have to request an additional wedge of lemon : it came with it, which was lovely surprise. Booked Boxing Day lunch online at the woodman. When we arrived we were informed that because we booked online we were not down for having Christmas menu but everyday menu no crackers/ hats) even though this wasn’t written online! Very disappointed! As was my father and uncle in their eighties! Staff very unhelpful!

Lovely local pub. Friendly staff. Dogs are very welcome inside (I counted 10 on my visit on a Sunday lunchtime in February! Food is quick to come out. Big portions of traditional pub food and well cooked. Good children's menu too. Big garden that must be nice in summer. If I lived locally, I'd happily visit regularly.

Unfortunately our experience was not that great in the end for our Sunday lunch. The food was nice and the garden was good for the kids. However they didn’t take off our £20 deposit paid upfront because the booking system and billing system doesn’t link up. They told us it would take 10 days to refund which I wasn’t impressed with. Don’t book in advance and pay the deposit as it caused us a lot of hassle in the end to sort out. Speisekarte ansehen
