OMGIs this a nursing home? 7.30 the restaurant shuts! No snacks available apart from desserts. Then the ‘Last orders follow within 45mins. Who is this place open for? The kitchen staff? I think so Tater tots! OMG!! These are a cheap frozen American side dish for kids!! They don’t change even if you serve them with truffles

We met up with long-term friends who live in the Wisbech area and enoyed an excellent meal togther. Our waitress, Courtney, was particularly welcoming and helpful thoughout our time there. The food was hot, full of taste, and nourishing; the deserts were delightful, and beyond expectations! Not our first time there, but certainly one of our best!

I really don’t recognise the recent poor reviews on here. This place is always brilliant. On our last visit, the staff were as welcoming and as helpful as ever – despite the place being packed. The food was as superb as it always has been. The Halloumi Chili Wrap and the Bacon Brie Sandwich were tremendous, and the coffees were great. The surroundings are comfy and cosy. Purchased a family steak and ale pie (allegedly) for £10.99. Turned out to be a mushroom and carrot pie with a smattering of beef. My son and I hate mushrooms, the main filling, so I wouldn't have bought it had I known. There was no breakdown of ingredients on the wrapper just a label stating steak and ale pie. I notice another reviewer experienced the same thing in the restaurant 2 years ago, so no improvements have been made. Now feeling misguided, disappointed and hungry!

Visited early on a Saturday evening with friends and every item I had prepicked out was not available on the menu, really poor planning from staff that early on a Saturday night. Ended up with a main which was very average for the cost of it and my wife went with a burger that had seen better days and we have had better burgers from weatherspoons. The drinks were excellent though some really nice cocktails with good service and desserts were really good. Overall when spending £150 per couple you expect a lot better quality and availability of food menu. Unlikely to return anytime soon after this.

Very nice staff and tables very nicely placed. Coffee at £3.50 very poor with little flavour . No whole miolk available and coffee was cold with half left. Resturant also was not warm enough. Was told upon entering 1pm that goats cheese sald was not available that would have been my wifes choice . I ordered the steak pie, 1 minuet later waiter returned to say none left! Instead I ordered as did my wife The Brie, cranberry and mushroom pie. Well upon eating I thought I had been served the wrong pie. Full of mushrooms, spinich not mentioned on menu and rice ?? . No brie or cranberries. Was told by waiter that the brie and cranberries were all mixed in togeter with rice as well. Could not notic... Speisekarte ansehen

Arrived host was very polite and friendly, put in a freezing seating area with elderly parents, had to ask to be moved, drinks served by manager, asked for bottle soft was told no just draft no alternative, ordered food , starters camembert, wings garlic bread, wings and camembert deep fried! Greasy Bbq chicken and bacon burger bacon not crispy it was burnt and unedable, hamand eggs fine, rib eye steak over seasoned rare and not medium as requested, chips awfull, like bag of frozen , not cooked very much no colour and unacceptable for a steak dinner priced at £24, the feel was of that of a business cutting costs on everything, sauces cheap plastic sachets, when paying restaurant prices would...

My partner and I’s first time visiting Worzals and after reading some of the recent reviews we were slightly skeptical but the reviews couldn’t have been more wrong! Upon arrival the waitress who seated us told us there was a 25-30 minute wait which i thought was super helpful. As soon as we sat down, a really friendly waitress came over and took our drinks order, my partner wanted to try the 2 red wines on the menu and the waitress was more than helpful bringing samples over. We were then brought our starters which were duck Bon bons, tempura prawns and hot cheddar garlic bread. The Bon bons were incredibly tasty and flavourful, the prawns were super crispy but the garlic bread hardly taste...

Seems to be going downhill which is a real shame. We visited yesterday and the service was appalling. Our meals were pretty much thrown down on the table and the waitress walked away. There was an empty glass right in front of her nose, but no offer of getting another drink. We flagged down another waitress to ask for salt, sauce and drinks. She didn’t seem interested either. Our drinks arrived 10 minutes later but went to the table next to us. When the guests explained that they didn’t order them, the waiter took them away. He didn’t check to see if they were for anyone else. We again flagged down a grumpy waitress to explain the situation and she reordered the drinks. Another 5 minutes and... Speisekarte ansehen
