"First visit here and very impressed with the whole experience. Food 9/10, service 10/10. Surprisingly not that busy. Also tried booking direct via vintage inns and said fully booked, also other restaurant app said no availability. This one had availability and Resturant was half empty when arrived at 1.30pm in the afternoon. So if the owner/manager is reading this it’s worth looking into as they’re probably losing a lot of business whilst paying for other booking platforms that don’t work!"

Booked a table for lunch but upon arrival was stuck in a corner of the pub with no acknowledgement of booking. Food was poor and no value for money.

My wife and celebrated our anniversary with a lunch at this wonderful pub in Rickmansworth. It is easy to get to by car and serves great food. We are vegetarians and must say there was a good choice. The service was impeccable. Being a gastropub it had a fairly extensive menu. It was quite busy for a Monday. There is also outside seating. They have a great drinks list and dessert menu too. The carrot cake cheesecake was amazing! A lovely experience, surely to be repeated!
