WOW! Our tour guide took us here and it was the best meal the entire trip. Awesome!!! I cannot wait to come back and tell others about same.

We had the most beautiful afternoon eating Sam's amazing food. The food is so fresh, the best tomatoes I've ever had, and the staff was so warm. Amazing view from the balcony! Definitely worth the slightly off the beaten path meal.

After a tour of the Amalfi Coast, our tour guides brought us here for one of the best meals we had in the Sorrento area. The fresh farm to table ingredients made the entire meal outstanding. The service by the owner and his staff made the experience event that mush better. This is a place that should not be missed.

Posizione pazzesca, gustosa casa genuina, pasta fresca ben stagionata e gustosa, materie prime di qualità. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Abbiamo ordinato diversi ottimi antipasti fritti, due primi, un antipasto, due dolci e una focaccia. Siamo ociti pieni e felici. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ringraziamo anche l'hotel delle colline reali per consigliarlo. Bravo!

We visited Zio Sams on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We needed a place with parking as it is difficult to find parking around restaurants here. We arrived around 6:30 and was able to sit out on the terrace. The view is great. We shared mussels, pasta and a mixed grill which were all very good and plenty to eat for the two of us. Stumbled across this place by following a sign en route into sorrento. We pulled up in the car park questioned whether the place was open or not. Very unassuming. However, we got inside and we were met with a great welcome, superb view and nice looking place. We had a variety of dishes including what was described as a ‘crazy pizza’ loaded with endless toppings, A vegetarian pasta dish and mixed meat grill. All was first class. Nice experience that I’d repeat in a heartbeat

At the suggestion of our tour guide we had lunch at Tio Sam on top of a hill overlooking Sorrento. Acceping his suggestion turned out to be a great decision on our part. The owner welcomed us with open arms. We had a great table with a spectacular view and our lunch was incredible. Fresh fruits and vegetables, incredible salad, ripe figs just picked from the owners garden. We sipped beautiful wine and dined like kings. Delightful service, delicious food and breathtaking views .. what more can you ask for? I hope to dine here again soon.

BEST MEAL IN ALL OF ITALY! We were feeling frustrated in not being able to find an authentic restaurant that wasn't flooded with tourists and finally we came across Zio Sam referred to us by many locals! Sam is 84 years old and grows some of the produce on his farm We started the evening with their speciality seafood platter appetizer which was a generous selection of fresh seafood cooked various ways. We then had their seafood pasta dishes. Spaghetti Vongole cooked with a hearty portion of clams a refreshing lemon sauce. And the Seafood Linguine Al Cartoccio the freshest seafood pasta cooked with a red pasta sauce. We finished the evening with their homemade desserts digestive. Highly recom... Speisekarte ansehen
