"Some days ago, my mother and I dined at Zizzi’s to celebrate her recent career progression. We arrived without prior booking at 5:50pm on a Monday evening, at which point it was quiet and cavernous, with a choice of seating. We ordered the mozzarella garlic bread and fried calamari with aioli, drizzled with lemon for starters, to share. They both arrived promptly and were flavoursome without compromising quantity. Not only, was the mozzarella garlic bread simultaneously crisp yet fluffy, oily and salty, and heated to a pleasant degree. But also, the fried calamari was battered aptly, without sacrificing the quantity of the calamari. Soon after, we were met with our own generous dish of prawn linguini, topped with rocket. The linguini was twirled into a neat formation, with a mix of textures. While, the the tomato sauce was smooth and subtly rich, ample for the multiple hot linguini strips, the shaved courgette added a fine crunch, and the prawns constituted to a meaty density. However, within an hour, the restaurant was almost full, with the multitude of loudening conversations making it difficult to hear. Therefore, I would recommend eating early if you are someone who prefers a quieter experience. Also, although I was a student with a discount card, giving me access to 30% off on that particular instance. It is worthy to note that this is likely to be a somewhat costly evening, if you are someone who will order more than one course, or if you are a family, paying for multiple people."

Food was terrible. All the pastas seemed microwaved! Will choose not go to a zizzi restaurant again.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Don’t even bother with the Spaghetti Bolognaise…. You might as well order flavoured pasta … Absolutely zero meat in the bolognaise… absolutely rubbish….

Very good service! Wasn’t very keen on the Paella, rice wasn’t cooked and it was very hard to chew. Also the green pesto was making it very oily and gross! I had a starter witch was nice and also desert was amazing. A little disappointed that the main wasn’t nice ,was hoping to be nice as it was new to the menu! Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious meal at Zizzi Bexleyheath. I had sea bass and he he had calzone, gorgeous. For dessert, I had berry and cherry sundae (unusual blackcurrant mascarpone/lemon meringue ice-cream with cherry compote) and husband had lemon chocolate cheesecake. Really delicious. Would highly recommend.

Visited today for Mother’s Day. Myself, husband, and our 2 grown up children. Had booked and were immediately shown to a nice table in the window as we arrived. Attentive service, great cocktails. Food was excellent and the Mother’s Day 3-course menu a very reasonable price. No complaints at all, everything was excellent. Thank you.

First time and last time. Service was slow. Most food wasn’t available on the menu. Got a window seat and it was freezing. Took ages to get a drink and wasn’t busy at all. Desert was a takeaway only to find it was half eaten. Waiting waiter chat up customers whilst waiting for my drink. Very poor. Wouldnt go to this place ever again. Speisekarte ansehen

7 family members went for a meal on Father's Day, very pleasantly surprised to find that the menu has been changed and has much more choice. The last time we visited a Zizzi restaurant was November 2021 so it has changed in the meantime. The meals were all nicely presented, food was hot and delicious. Although the restaurant was busy we didn't have to wait very long for drinks orders to be taken. The staff were lovely also. Highly recommended. Only thing is it is not card payments only which is a bit annoying!

If you have a prawn allergy your choices are restricted as they us the same oil for everything, so you can’t have calamari or the complimentary can’t eat it snack! They offered to cook my sea bass separately, and it was like cardboard! I had to order separately from my family like a pariah! I left half my lunch (and I only ate half because we were booked to see Oppenheimer and didn’t have time to go elsewhere. With a half full plate, no one asked if the food was ok (clearly it wasn’t snd they didn’t want to know and I had to go up to the three servers stood chatting to ask for another coke as the waitress took the empty bottle next to my empty glass, didn’t ask if I wanted another (this was...

"A group of 28 of us from a retirement association descended on the restaurant for an evening meal. We have a programme of meals called Food Around the World, with the intention of introducing the association’s members to varied tastes and restaurants in the area that they may not normally consider. And so it was with the Lebanese. The organiser had eaten here twice before and, having enjoyed both times, hoped the experience would be good for others. None of the other twenty-seven attendees had visited the restaurant before, and from the positive comments there are at least six wanting to go back privately. To avoid undue choice and confusion we agreed with the proprietor to take the set menu offering, and that way give the attendees a varied ‘taste of the Lebanon’. Food was well received and after the various starters some thought the meal had finished the main grill and shawarma hadn’t even been served at that point, so most attendees did go home ‘stuffed’! We started at 6:30pm, and the group was clearly having an enjoyable time and it was difficult to get them away, with most staying until nigh 10pm a good sign. With 28 of us, we filled the restaurant, and to some extent that did make moving/serving in the restaurant a bit of challenge as the restaurant is cosy. Two minor negatives slightly different table configuration might have made the feel less cosy, but then it wouldn’t have been as social. The drinks service was slightly disjointed. Material issues. No! In summary, food was plentiful, tasty, well-cooked, not exorbitant prices and therefore well worth a visit.
