"according to the so-called hyrambican reviews of this small restaurant (about 28 seating places close). the reception was warm and friendly. We each took a 3-course menu for €26. aperitif: a plate with a little bit of lettuce and a half cherry tomato; a glass of guacamole topped by a salmon tartar. Not bad but not so special either. My wife chose the 6 snails of the vineyard, which were beautifully prepared. We had bread. In the main dish, I chose the beef tartare with a dauphinois gratin accompaniment. My wife chose the "leader's suggestion": duck magret in the oven and fresh vegetable macedoin. The accompanying dish was always either a small potato, pasta or vegetables. dessert, a glass with 2 ice balls in the blackcurrant and a spoon of whipped aerosol. my wife again chose the chef's suggestion: a small cut of simple fruit thinly chopped. the restaurant opened at 7:30 p.m. and was almost full after 45 minutes. at 9:10, more than half had already left. we too, despite the extra aperitif. So everything went pretty fast. for 26 € for a 3-course menu, you should not wait too much. judging by written criticism, I expected a little more. What distinguishes this restaurant from another one? everything was fresh, nothing was bad but nothing special or surprising either. On the seasoning side, an effort could still be made. If I want to be honest with myself, I can't give more than a way."

"The hotel is convenient for the motorway and was obviously not a Kyriad originally. The conversion to Kyriad is ok, but the end result is still somewhat compromised and not as stylish as the new hotels in the chain. The staff are pleasant, the reception area functional, but not entirely welcoming. There is a bar, but very little comfortable seating where you could relax, unwind and enjoy a drink. The small rooms are on three floors and there is no lift, so taking large or heavy luggage to your room, if it 's not on the ground floor, could be hard work. The rooms are clean and have minimalist drink making facilities. The beds are comfortable and you get to try the 'signature ' memory foam pillow available for purchase at reception. You can also purchase toiletry kits if you 've forgotten yours and there 's also a vending machine for when the restaurant is closed. The bedrooms have been refreshed as part of the conversion to Kyriad, but the project obviously had a tightly controlled budget. Everything works as you 'd expect it to and with your eyes closed, or when actually asleep, hotel rooms tend to be quite similar so the decor and size aren 't too much of a problem. Our room, at the back on the second floor was quiet. We had a beer before dinner and made use of the small seating area next to reception. The restaurant menu is limited, but maybe that 's how they maintain the freshness and quality of food offered. Dinner was actually very good. Both starters came with nicely dressed, very fresh salads and were of a good size and very tasty. The mains were some of the the best hotel dinners we 've had on this trip the medium rare steaks were served with a generous serving of vegetables and salad, the pepper sauce had bite and the chips were fresh, hot and crispy. Very enjoyable and very tasty. I suspect the hotel has taken note of earlier reviews that criticised meals in the restaurant, our experience was very good and the waiting staff were nice and smiley too. Breakfast the following morning was also quite good with nice breads, croissants and pain au chocolat. There was fresh fruit salad and also unprepared fruits, yogurts, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese and cold meats. The selection was completed with cereals, fruit juices and hot drinks. Everything was well presented and stocks were checked and replenished frequently. We enjoyed breakfast and we were quite surprised when we settled the bill as it was very good value given the quality of the food we 'd had. There 's plenty of free parking and the free wi fi is reasonable fast. Good if you 're looking for clean and functional and don 't want to go out foraging for dinner. Bear in mind the lack of lift when you check in."
