Nice place nice waiter but food is not exceptional and coffee is mediocre

Stopped here for a quick drink as we were passing through Dijon. The place itself is very cute with lovely decor, it was very clean, and the staff were friendly. I had a coffee which was nice, but my partner had a hot chocolate that he said was ok.

Beau choix de boissons, pâtisseries maisons, et une bonne ambiance. Un sans faute pour notre pause gourmande de l’après-midi !

We found ourselves between friends and a baby this day at noon around a quality meal served outdoors quietly by a nice waiter .................it was not the first time for two of us and not the last because the place, the reception and the quality of the products are gathered to give us the desire to come back! We visited Madeleine on a rainy afternoon and warmed up with tea and cake. The Madeleine Cafe offers a huge selection of very high quality and special teas and we had a hard time deciding. There is also a showcase with delicious cakes and patisserie according to the daily order. The apple crumble cake we had was excellent and the perfect complement to the tea. The atmosphere is also super cozy and you can also sit outside in the alley. The staff was super friendly and very well organized despite being busy.
