"Last week we found an online promotion for this place and we told each other, let's go try, it's a stone's throw away from us! What to say, a welcoming atmosphere with warm atmosphere, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and with great pleasure we tried different courses of their menu, accompanied by a really good Lazio red wine. All the leads we chose were well served and from the unique tastes, appetizing appetizers and details (snacks of pork, fried sage and fried trippa , simple and tasty rosticciata pumpkin, first delicious with quality pasta and with real truffle (potatoes and truffles... and second really indescribable and exquisite (beer cheek on smoked pure we also made the bis, but there was to do the tris as good it was!!! Only we were satis and wanted to try more... To finish we also tried their beers, for which we have tasted first the different types, really nice also in this, as well as in the changes posed for each course (it seems trivial however makes the difference and in the management of all our dinner! The only new one, if so you can say, is the menu that you can only see with qcode (but you are equipping for the paper , but it is our particular note because we hate to keep the phone at hand to dinner!!! So really personal and opinable opinion. We recommend everyone to try this local hidden in the village of Palestrina, not only for beer but also for the menu. Congratulations to the Chef and all the staff! Thank you very much, it was a pleasure and we will come back to visit you as soon as possible!"

"The Zi Rico Restaurant, located in the historic heart of Palestrina, represents a perfect combination of Italian culinary tradition and gastronomic innovation. With a family management that boasts over forty years of experience, Zi Rico offers its guests an unforgettable culinary experience, wrapped in an elegant and welcoming environment. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a fascinating structure, with visible cyclopean walls and a suggestive Roman cave used as a cellar for the finest wines. The atmosphere is intimate and sophisticated, perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. The starters offer a wide range of choices between sea and land. Particularly notable are the amberjack carpaccio with wine caramel and red onion, which surprises for its delicacy and balance of flavours, and the red prawn tartare on a bed of avocado, stracciatella and mullet caviar, a fresh and sophisticated dish. . Lovers of more traditional flavors can opt for the Giudia-style artichoke with raw red prawns and colonnata lard, which expertly combines simple and fine ingredients. Among the first courses, the spaghetti cacio e pepe with raw prawns and lime is a creative interpretation of a Roman classic, while the guitar with lobster is a rich and indulgent dish. Calamarata with croaker fillet à la cacciatora is an excellent choice for those looking for a tasty and well-balanced dish. Absolutely not to be missed are the small handmade fettuccine with truffles. They are heavenly. For the second courses, the menu offers delights such as turbot fillet in a potato and pachino crust, where the crunchiness of the potatoes pairs perfectly with the softness of the fish. The lamb rump cooked at low temperature with pecorino cream and sautéed chicory is a dish that embodies tradition with a modern touch, while the Catalan shellfish dish with lobster, scampi and prawns is a true triumph for seafood lovers. . To conclude, the restaurant's desserts are the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. The millefeuille with wild berry mascarpone cream and the pistachio and white chocolate semifreddo are among the most popular choices, offering a balance of sweetness and crunchy texture. The service at Zi Rico is commendable, with knowledgeable and friendly staff making every visit enjoyable. The restaurant's cellar, located in the Roman cave, offers a selection of over 400 wine labels, allowing guests to accompany each dish with the perfect wine. In conclusion, Zi Rico is an unmissable destination for those seeking a high-quality dining experience in a historic and charming setting. The combination of fresh ingredients, innovative dishes and excellent service makes this restaurant a true gem in Palestrina. Advised!"
