"To start off, I want to say that this pub is probably the worst I have ever visited. My family of four arrived at 1:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon to find the pub not very crowded. Initially, it seemed like a nice and inviting place. We decided to order drinks and lunch, choosing two chicken katsu burgers, a classic beef burger, and fish and chips. Despite the lack of crowd, we only received three out of four drinks immediately. There was a delay with the beer due to a barrel change, which we understood. However, it took 40 minutes for the beer to finally arrive. We also received a second beer that seemed to be given to us by mistake. Our food took over an hour to arrive, at around 2:40 pm. The quality was disappointing, with the chicken katsu burger being particularly bad. The fish and chips and classic beef burger were average at best. The service was slow, with a lack of cutlery and napkins for the table. We paid £60 for a subpar meal in a cold and dimly lit atmosphere. The staff seemed overwhelmed and there were clear issues with understaffing. Overall, I do not recommend this pub due to poor food, high prices, and lackluster service.
