Really friendly pub. Great food. Dogs are welcome too. I love the unusual menu not just your typical pub grub.

Great relaxed atmospher, cold beer and warm friendly service. Short stop for a quick pint or two but will be back for a meal.

Sunday was my first time I'd been. Lovely pub,food and staff. I would off gave them 10/10 but I only had a small amount of sprouts so I'm giving them 9/10

we had a fantastic meal, the staff and service was excellent. we were very welcome, nothing was too much annoyed for them. I would recommend this pub to everyone. thanks for a successful start in 2017

great pub, beautiful garden, beautiful eating, beautiful staff! my two children and I drove here along the greenway of stratford, held here for a pub lunch, will definitely be back. next time, we'll be set a little earlier so we can stay a little longer.

Been here three times now for Sunday lunch and it is excellent. I am moving to the village in June so no doubt will be spending a lot of time here in the future. Looking forward to trying some of the other things on the menu as well. Has to be one of the tastiest Sunday lunches ever, well maybe apart from mine!

This charming village pub is dog-friendly and offers a relaxed dining experience. The food took a little longer than expected to arrive, but the staff kindly informed us beforehand. I was disappointed to find gherkins in my chicken salad, along with a hot bun that made the salad soggy. I also missed the Parmesan cheese that was supposed to be included. My friend found the pulled pork lacking in flavor and wished it had come with a burger relish or sauce. However, another friend enjoyed their bacon burger. One thing that bothered me was when the staff cleared my plate while others at the table were still eating, making it feel rushed and impolite.

Was staying nearby and needed a place for some tea. Booked The Mason online a week before for a Saturday evening. Very simple and within a few hrs had a confirmation of the table. On arrival was greated politely and shown to a choice of 2 tables. From then on I didn't need to leave my seat. OK this may not be the case if really busy but polite staff throughout. As for the food I can say we had 3 tapas plates to share for a starter and was really nice and probably a little to big for a starter for 2!!
