Spanish restaurant with fine eating with friendly staff. the tapas-sharing plate had a wide variety of aromen and was an opportunity to try something new. halibut and duck were also excellent and correct cream catalan.

We had a stunning meal. A warm reception from the front of house. Great atmosphere. Fantastic wine selection. Wish we had an Acorn restaurant back home in Dorset. We’ll be returning next time we’re over that way for sure.

The food was excellent, tasty, high quality and if you're buying from the lunch menu it's very reasonably priced. Our waitress was top notch. She knew her stuff, was friendly and accommodating. What an incredible experience! The service was top-notch—informative and truly helpful. We were even greeted by the chef, who shared details about the origin of the ingredients and showed us the Tomahawk steak before cooking it. By the way, I highly recommend the Tomahawk! The meal was outstanding; everything was flawless and delicious. I will definitely be returning!

I tasted the most wonderful foods in this restaurant. I chose lamb and my friend chose sea bass and vegetables. Both of them were incrediblely delicious. Crema Catalana (dessert) was also yummy. I felt every dish was made with sincerity. The hostess from Barcelona was beautiful and kind. I promised I will visit again as soon as possible with my family. We were attracted to Acorn and decided to stop for dinner while traveling from London to the South Downs. We were not disappointed! We ordered three appetizers and two of the day's special fish dishes. The fresh, sustainably sourced seafood was bursting with delicate flavors and delightful surprises. The very friendly staff made our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable, accommodating all of our unique keto requests with ease!

This restaurant truly has everything you could want for a great dining experience. The service was outstanding and very attentive, and we had a waitress with a wonderful sense of humor. She also advised us not to over-order, which was greatly appreciated! The food was incredible, and I highly recommend the fish plate. The wine list was great, too. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between not rushing you and maintaining high service levels. Well-deserved positive reviews on Google!

On a positive note, the staff are lovely; it seems like the issue lies with the chef, who clearly has an attitude problem. I’m not picky, but I could cook fish better at home with my eyes closed. It seems the chef has lost their passion, which is really disappointing. This is the second time we’ve had to send food back. This place used to be excellent, but sadly, the standards have slipped significantly. I would recommend going to a Michelin-starred restaurant instead; the prices are comparable, but at least the chefs there take pride in the food they serve. Overall, a major disappointment.
