Afternoon Tea at Fanhams Hall

Let's start with this statement: i have never been in a Michelin restaurant before. I loved this place.

Lovely environment, friendly staff and absolutely gorgeous scones. Am planning to go again and take my mum.

Fabulous afternoon at Fanhams having tea and cakes. Booked as an early Mother’s Day treat with our family. This is my second visit in as many months!

We had a delightful afternoon tea, with plenty of lovely food. We were undisturbed, with considerately good service, to enjoy a quiet chat in gorgeous surroundings. Speisekarte ansehen

The Afternoon Tea menu had changed and we were pleasantly surprised. The addition of some savoury items e.g. sausage rolls and cheese tart were very welcome. The waitress staff were great and very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend Fanhams.

Had a lovely time and staff are fantastic and nothing is a problem for them to sort out on the day to make your event special. We got married at Fanhams and have been going back to the venue several times for afternoon tea and to walk around the beautiful gardens. so I would definitely recommend this venue.

Was really looking forward to my first visit to Farnhams Hall for Afternoon Tea as the reviews were really good and came highly recommended, however was sadly disappointed. Tea bags!? What’s that all about? Tea bags have no place in what’s advertised as a ‘traditional’ Afternoon Tea in my book plus thick, plain white crockery!? Where’s the floral bone china guys? Sadly not a patch on the standard of Afternoon Tea I’m used to i’m afraid. Sandwiches not dainty and over filled, cakes quirky but sadly didn’t work and scones extra small and quite dry. Had to keep calling for service instead of the expected attentive service. Disappointing will not return or recommend. Speisekarte ansehen
