"Sadly not the best experience here. I asked for a mocktail and was met with a blank face after waiting a lot time to get served for drinks. Our table was late and our meal came out incorrect after specific requests for meat to be cooked through (pregnant woman) and had to be sent back. This meant we couldn’t eat together. No apology from the chef or management and no reflection of this in the bill. Not currently worth the hefty price tag to eat there sadly. Disappointed and won’t be back in a hurry."

Delicious meal at the Northumberland arms, we waited 45 mins for food but definitely worth the wait and gave us time to relax and chat too. Lovely atmosphere and staff and service excellent too! The Sea-bass was delicious

another beautiful meal here. obviously they were more busy because of the festive season, so the service was not as fast as usual, but that is to be expected, and did not irritate our evening at all. we had a great time and can't wait to come back.

Portion sizes are extremely small, especially when taking into account the prices. Also the description on the menu may not match the reality, ie I asked for the leg of lamb, expecting a leg of lamb as per what I have had in other pubs. But what you get is two slices of lamb.

The food was good but we’d been for Sunday lunch and we had to wait for accompanying sauces meaning the food was going cold, coffee arriving without spoons, dessert spoon only and no fork. Sounds really picky but difficult getting staff attention, and not massively busy so not that excuse. Small easily correctable things would have made a huge difference and better score would have been given.
