Recommended by a friend so when my brother was on a visit we gave it a try. The food is indeed superb and well worth driving out to Stannington. I high recommended the Chat Mausum. Took my wife here early on Saturday night, we both had sheek kebab starter , my wife had king prawn dupiaza and i had the king prawn jalfrezi. both with mushroom pillau rice, all i can say is that the food was delicious, and with...a pint of cobra for me this was perfect. its the best jalfrezi i ever had. I should have known, by the high volume of people using the take away service that this restaurant was top class. well done all, we will be back here very soon, thanks

Takeaway was swimming in oil, the cod main was instantly smelly, which indicates the fish was not fresh, other mains we ordered were exactly the same, swimming in oil and very unappealing. We were disgusted and demanded a refund of the almost £60 we spent, we have yet to receive a partial refund as agreed. Disgusting. The food at this restaurant is exceptional, with excellent flavors and generous portions. It is some of the best Indian food we have ever had. The service can be a bit slow, as they are catering to both dine-in customers and delivery orders, but the waiters are friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!
